Jesus. Just went to collect the chidlets from OSHC and had to run the gauntlet of crazed drivers who seemingly lose all ability to control a vehicle because it's raining. One guy was tailgating me so closely that I couldn't even see his headlights.

It is astounding how water makes people drive like they are in a dodgem car ring.

Idiots.

When I lived in Brisvegas people used to drive like maniacs when the afternoon thunderstorm hit. Apparently the idea was to get home before it hailed. I'd take the slight risk of hail damage over being rear ended by some idiot speeding on a wet road any day.

People drive more sensibly during a monsoonal storm/cyclone in Darwin than they do when a drop of rain hits a windscreen in Sydney.

I fail to comprehend it.

I feel old when I see some of the fashion that our guys are into. O'Shea is rocking some spectacles not unlike Kim Basinger in Batman circa 1989.
I saw an early 20's lower class citizen on a razor scooter in the pouring rain last night, wearing dark sunglasses. Aside from looking extremely unsettling, wouldn't he have been like:

and then...
