The Reasoning Behind Dan 24

Now Girls and Boys have we worked out the method to Dan 24's madness. It seems that Danny Boy maybe a bit anxious about The Bombers ability to win the premiership. Hence the need to try and hype up support for a "minor premier" option so that at the end of the season Essendon don't finish off another unrewarded year by dying in the finals. After all the runner-up is the first loser and nobody really cares who played in the finals only who won the Big One. Could it be that after this great winning run by the Dons that their supporters know that they are one game closer to the inevitable defeat. The real question is will they be undefeated after 22 rounds only to choke in the finals. Only time will tell.

You don't know me very well, and are obviously new to this board.

I have een saying tis for 5 years or more. Essendon has got nothing to do with it, as others on here know.

If Essendon win the flag from 5th I will be first to admit we are not the years best team. In fact, we won from 4th in 1965. We shouldn;t have been caled premiers of the whole year that year. We shold have been called "finals series" premiers.

It's just unfortunate that my team is sitting on top, therefore you feel that way about me.

But you are wrong. And that is a fact, because I know what is going through my head, and the teams involved are irrelevant.

The only one qualified to comment about ME, is ME.

I hate Carlton, but I am first to say that they SHOULD (but weren't) be given recognition for finishing 1995 with a 20-2 record. They were the best.
