Yep. Pretty sure that is right. Goes in draft order and if no one bids then GWS I think get him. Kind of awkward if he ends up at GWS by default and they didn't really want him.

Wagner must win this, because you can rule out all the players that are now currently playing in there local leagues, thats Waylen, Goss, Samuel, Ive heard so far in this thread.

Im not sure if I'm one episode behind or not, but I have seen them play against prisoners, and policeman...I'd like to see how they went against a team that, I dunno, has SOME footballing ability.

Saw Padraig (the Irish guy) I think that is his name walking around dfo south warf docklands this afternoon. Was wearing a recruit top. He is a big guy. Not sure but Moreland might of been with him.

Exactly, it'll be the recorded episodes up until the special draft where it'll be a live show/s. You wouldn't want to receive a serious injury if you've made it down to the last few.

I was wondering how it will work when it's down to the final 3, not like they can play a game with only 3 players. Perhaps they are required to go and play at local level.

From what I have seen Wagner looks a real standout, and being from Port headland seems to have a decent reason as to why he hasn't made it yet, where the others (except waylan) would have been in the eyes if VFL and AFL teams and if they were going to make it, would have by now.

A mate of mine keeps telling me that Manson will be at Collingwood next year.

I would suspect if he can see out the full year in Melbourne without getting homesick then a club will take a gamble on him, regardless of if he wins the show or not.

But it's a competition, and competitions should have clearly defined rules. If Vossy can tap any one of them on the shoulders at anytime and tell them they're gone, why bother with the whole "rate your mate" ordeal? Why not just leave the eliminations up to Voss, which is how it should be.

The guy wasn't AFL caliber, but I would suggest that several of the guys still in aren't either. If they wanted to thin the numbers down quicker, maybe they should've done a double elimination or something.

The fact that they're trying to find an AFL player is exactly why the players themselves shouldn't be deciding who is nominated to go.

I mean, it doesn't really matter, because it suffers from most of the annoying traits of most reality TV shows. I don't know how anyone can really make a decent assessment of who is good just by watching the show, as we barely see any of them performing. We see small snippets, which mostly serve to highlight how poorly certain players did.

I suspect this was Vossys way of getting rid of the 'good bloke' who was unlikely to be voted out in the rate your mate process.

That's not that bad. Michael Johnson plays at 88kg for Freo, but is 5cm taller.

BF should start its own recruit show. Call it 'Who Wants to be a Big Footy-aire'. And players can play where they wanna play, and we won't make up rules as we go along, and there'll be stats to back stuff up, and where kneeing people in the throat is against the rules.

Michael Johnson has elite foot skills, Hutchy had worse skills than Mitch Robinson. Was a good bloke but would struggle at VFL level.
