Not the worst idea for talent scouting, dont know about the tv concept.

When you see aus idol or american idol people with albums there is a feeling they almost are not really music stars, maybe thats just me, but seems fake.

This tv show winner gets a brownlow or a premiership it will be odd. But i will give it a look at least, or go and polish and boots and sign up

What club is going to allow some spud to take a spot on their list?

On the same token, if the willing club gets allowed an extra spot to make way for said spud, and then the spud ends up being good, how is that equitable for the other clubs?

I'd be very surprised if they find anyone who fits that criteria and is genuinely AFL standard. Unless they're bringing in athletes from other sports...

Barely. Began playing for Geelong's VFL side in 2007, prior to his 21st birthday, and was drafted by Geelong at the end of the 2007 season.
