On facebook it said that the next Recruit episode was on in an hour. What channel is it on? I thought it would be on fox footy but I can't see it in the upcoming shows? Can someone please point me in the right direction.

I was wondering how it will work when it's down to the final 3, not like they can play a game with only 3 players. Perhaps they are required to go and play at local level.

From what I have seen Wagner looks a real standout, and being from Port headland seems to have a decent reason as to why he hasn't made it yet, where the others (except waylan) would have been in the eyes if VFL and AFL teams and if they were going to make it, would have by now.

At least Smithy has played WAFL and has a basic understanding of the game.

Yeah that ending was painfully obvious and I got a feeling next weeks as well.

The guys looked a bit disappointed/shocked when Ryan Smith got done in before the yank and I don't blame them. He comes in with the attitude that because his American that he can just walk in and automatically be better than a bunch of guys who have grown up loving the game when he just looks like a big dope with little room for improvement.

Will be dire next week when he gets put in the bottom 3 and Waylen gets eliminated over him.

I'm confused why they're even on it in the first place. They did the draft testing through the AFL, apparently did well in it, and now they're on a reality show for a list spot? It's so stupid and gimmicky.

I'm a bit sad Smithy's gone. He was one I had picked for the potential to end up at an AFL club. Not too old, plenty of height, plenty of talent, just needed a bit more work. And they never showed enough of him to make a proper assessment, or compare him to other guys.

And he was such a piece of eye candy for us girls too

They kinda have to be. It has nothing to do with how good they are now, it's predicting how good they can be. Doing that requires tracking how quickly they develop, how well they improve on their deficiencies, how applied to the cause they are, etc. It takes longer than just looking at a 24 year old that's played footy all his life and saying, "Nah, you're probably not good enough to make it at AFL level mate." Sucks for those that are clearly better at the moment, but in the end that's not what a club is going to make the decision to recruit them based off of.

Cannot believe that Chris Moreland wasn't delisted after he broke a curfew and being out drinking when he shouldn't have. It makes me wonder if Michael Voss is really the right man to be the coach on 'The Recruit'. Would someone like ie Terry Wallace or David Parkin be the Coach instead?

I thought it was pretty clear how/why Waylen ended up in the bottom three - He didn't think his own leadership, of Chris (his roommate on the night the curfew was broken) or of the team in general, was good enough, so he nominated himself to go.

Also, I know it's just for television, but I hate how Leigh tells them to get their iPads to "Rate Your Mate", and they all turn around and get them out of their bags, as though they didn't know it was coming. Just comes across ultra hokey.

why must they show who the first few people vote for, you can always tell who will be in the bottom 3, plus they ruined the preview last week making tonights ending very predictable.
