"FOXTEL Australia and Eddie McGuire’s media company are being sued by a man who says they stole the concept for ‘The Recruit’ television series from him.

Stephen Parsons claims he spent years developing the AFL talent quest show, now in its second season, but the idea was poached after he shared confidential information with representatives from the broadcast and production companies during meetings.

Mr Parsons is suing Foxtel Australia, McGuire Media and Jam TV Australia for damages, according to documents filed in the Victorian Supreme Court, made available to the media on Monday."

Highly doubt he will win. Why wait so long to Sue?
