So your saying Trigg had to take AD's word as gospel. No investigation? So we are just the AFL's bitch? Rubbish.

Effectively, yes.

When it comes to something like this, where there are millions of dollars at risk, both in sponsorship and distributions from the AFL, the CEO has no choice whatsoever but to take strong and immediate action.

buts that's just it, it wasn't racism. And if they (AFL and AFC) had done their research they would have found that out.

Even the scent of racism is enough to do it.

If this had happened at Collingwood then MR probably wouldn't have been given the opportunity to resign. He would have been frog-marched out of the building, with a security guard dumping his personal effects on the footpath outside the building. That's how seriously racism & even the faintest suggestion of racism is taken at that particular club.

Vlad was asked specifically (on the couch) if he told Trigg to sack Rendell and he said NO!

Where does this leave Trigg? as others on here have said He was forced to act , but Vlad says otherwise.

And you know what, if there is one man in the world big enough to accept Triggs PUBLIC apology and come back to the club for the one more year it is Matty Rendell.....

Otherwise after tonight, 17 other clubs will be lining up for him as no mud sticks to him anymore.
