What are your thoughts ?

Personally i was very happy with the way he went about it . Very disciplined without getting leather poisoning

Liked his decision making under the pump a couple times .

Most importantly , i reckon he played the game exactly how Dimma wanted him to play .. and i'm equally impressed that Dimma backed him and slotted him straight back in .

Kid can clearly play and will be an asset going forward if he stays on the rails ...

Very impressed by the way both he and the RFC and handled this whole situation :thumbsu:

Welcome back Daniel

The previous Connors would have tried to lay on every party trick in the book against weak opposition. But the now Connors just put his head down and did his job.
So penetrating with his kicking today.

Definately adds to the squad, played well today. I'm just disappointed it took so long to finally see him get AFL games consistantly....thanks Terry.

There were 2 times he started spinning and turning..showing the ball... but both times got away with it. Playing a top 4 side he would have been done on the 2nd turn both times and probably cost goals.

But certainly was solid all day and hopefully has learned a lesson and will be a professional in all aspects off the ground and we will see his talent for 4 quarters week in week out:thumbsu: He certainly has alot of talent!

Love him. Would like to see him the midfield eventually, as I believe that's his best position. People keep talking about how we need another classy mid...well guess what? We've already got one.:thumbsu:

Tried to do a bit too much at times, still got a lot to learn and the pace of the big league caught him out after playing VFL the last few weeks.
Like it all the same.
I know we are talking Connors here but I think I have man love for Astin all the same

tries to do too much with the ball at times..

if i was dimma i would have him around newman all the time at training, thats the role he can and should play, two good left footers off half back and deledio back there is great coming out of defence

Can also play on the HFF, I like him in that possie as well...Plenty of options for the young man, as long as he matures, which I think he has..

One of the things we agree upon Mario.

Connors had the talent to go first round, went there in many mock drafts, but his attitude and commitment stunk and every club knew it. We took the punt and if we could ever help him over those hurdles - something we have hopefully achieved now - he was always going to be an outstanding bargain for where we picked him.

Bit like Taylor now you look back...hope he comes good eventually too. :thumbsu:

having been a big fan of this kids talents from the outset, yesterday was a servicable game for a come back game by his standards. Will improve and with more condition and experience to add to his undeniable kicking skills and smarts, will be the chief distributor of the ball out of HB. ;)

I agree Mario , every time I pen my ultimate future team Connors is in the centre. In all honesty Connors should have 40 games under his belt at half back and 20 in the guts by know. Wallace had no vision past senior players. Surely he must realise he is a joke by know watching what Hardwick is doing.
