I have been reading all the news and its great to see that all clubs players have returned in better shape than before the break and are all recording better time trials than before Christmas and that they are all ahead of schedule. This is really encouraging for all the coaching staff, and they now have confidence that they are all going to have great years.

This is really ecnouraging news for all the fans of course as it bodes well for them all that all there clubs are going to have good years.

We all should be celebrating, seems like we are all going to have really enjoyable seasons and be really happy this year with all the changes some clubs have made and all the progress they are making. No wonder we are all looking forward to it and can't wait.

I hear all 660 players are training the house down and have never been fitter.
About 300 players will be taking the next step and several veterans have found their second wind and will play for another 3 to 4 years.

except for those ones that we are taking one week at a time but should be fine for the start of the preseason - or the start of round 1 at the latest

except for those who are trying something new - not like those old timers who won't try anything creative

None of the above applies if your team is coached by any of the following:

Peter 'go back to the classroom' Rohde
Peter 'jellyback' Schwab
Paul 'i'm a nice bloke' Roos
Mark 'I'm not scared' Williams
Gary 'go and wash my car' Ayres
Spud 'lets go back to basics' Frawley
Neil 'this is the year' Daniher
Leigh 'fat guts' Mathews

Well thats what I'm hoping anyway.

No, you are right about at least one team on this list. According to Schwerdt, only 21 of Crows players (out of 37) have recorded personal bests in time trials this preseason. A worry obviously considering how well all the other sides are reportedly going.

gee the other 16 are really slow then, and won't compete against all those 600 players who have recorded better personal times!!! ;)

The players are doing better than each other as they are competing against each other.

let us not forget that
All teams will be producing a good brand of footy,
All players would love to give of their time whenever they can
All teams will make the finals
No team will be in the bottom half
