1.25L bottles of soft drink, why get a bottle for $1.99 when the 2L version is the same price, I shit you not at some IGAs and Woolies, or like only 20-50 cents more dearer.

Same goes for 600ml bottles in the milk bar or servo. Extra 80c gets you 1.25l - twice as much soft drink.

Shits me when Woolies sells Pepsi Max 1.25 litres for a dollar and they sell out. I have a strong addiction to Pepsi Max.

Going to the Movies. (In Aus)
Premium Vodka, vodka is meant to just be pure spirit mixed with water. The amount of times its distilled determines the "purity and lack of congeners"
Those socks that are invisible!
All the Targeted Nurofen and Panadol they sell for back pain and period pain, its all the same.
Anything in Australia which is run by Oligopolies/Monopolies (supermarkets, cable tv etc)

Movie prices are ridic.

I went to see Wolf of Wall Street on a tightarse Tuesday expecting to pay about $10 as usual but they charged me $16 and I said I don't want to sit in gold class with f***ing 3D glasses and champagne, just give me the tightarse tuesday cinema option. Apparently that was the tightarse tuesday cinema option but because it was R rated you had to pay extra just to see some ****, ass and drug use. That never used to be the case.

Beer on tap in some Perth bars are charging over 10 bucks now for a pint which is highway robbery.

Most things in Perth are a ripoff though, being so isolated we have no other option but to suck it up.

Agree with Perth beer and food prices, was there 3 years ago and was getting charged 10-11 bucks a pint.

VIC is still just over the 9odd bucks atm

Food, petrol, electricity, games. It's all one big "**** you Aussies, you can afford to pay more HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA".

Sometimes I just want to live in some poor ass country for a while just so the cost of living doesn't feel like it's bending me over just for being alive.

Movie tickets. Americans pay about half of what we do at the cinemas.

They pay a lot less for CDs, DVDs and clothes too. You can also buy cartons of beer in supermarkets there for around $10 or less.
