I am serious. I'm just thoroughly indifferent to his return. It'll get people talking and draw viewers, but it does nothing for me. Might help that I was never as crazy about him as others were in the first place. I liked him, but I never went nuts over him, and haven't been clamoring for him to return like many have.

lol, he was always goes nuts. Best JR moment off the top my head was when Austin 'returned' during the invasion era and cleaned the ring. Or great spots during TLC and HIAC matches. Eg. when Taker threw Mankind off the top of the cell in their famous match.
 
Haha, yep. I was watching that on youtube the other day. Was immense. Another good JR moment is WWF vs. WCW at Survivor Series, but I agree, Mankind vs. Undertaker was probably JR's peak. He just went off.

lol, now I'm in the mood to watch all the old clips on youtube. Triple H's return at MSG is probably still the loudest pop I've heard. Or when The Rock ended McMahon's Kiss My Ass club in Chicago. The crowd was phenomenal that night.

Im with Damon however the reason im not excited because I know its only a matter of months before hes off shooting The Pacifier 2 with Vin Diesel, wasting his charisma and one line talents instead producing another D grade action movie that even Hulk Hogan would be too embarassed to be a part of
 
I don't love the Rock, as he wasn't ever a heel long enough for me to appreciate him truly, (I did really enjoy his partnership with Mick Foley) but I appreciate what he is. If he feuds with Cena here, he could easily become my favourite.

If I were him I would leave pretty soon. He's one man it's not like Austin is coming back too :D

Fair enough I was young too I needed serious refreshers (thanks to youtube) to remember the Nation/ Ministry days ect.

Just to qualify I don't mean to say I want the Rock to leave. WWE is pretty lame these days and if he doesn't wrestle i think it will get old.

At the time, Makind was my favourite wrestler of that era followed by the Rock.

Is it just me or does Mankind get underrated? Always seems to be in the shadow of rock and stone cold, but Mankind made things interesting and as a wrestler he was ****ing insane (pun intended).

Well I'm not really the "go nuts" type, but if the following guys that I loved as a kid appeared on WWE television, I'd be excited:

  • Vampiro
  • Saturn
  • Ken Shamrock
  • Steve Blackman
I'd probably be the only one keen to see those guys though. I was more into those midcard types in the late '90s than guys like The Rock, Austin, etc. There's a number of current guys in indies/Japan/Mexico who I'd be excited for as well.
