I was sitting on the toilet earlier, reading through the Sier thread, and I had an epiphany.

It was though I was seeing the future from afar. Bucks and Pendles were standing on a dais, holding a big shiny cup. There seemed to be a year written on the shiny cup...202? Couldn’t make out the last digit.

I’ve thought long and hard about what this cryptic message could mean.

Maybe, just maybe, a new roll is about to begin...

Don’t despair Magpie faithful. There is hope.

That hope rests with our host of exciting youngsters and Nathan Buckley.

As some old bloke once said, “they’re my boys Eddie.”

The next generation are bonding with Bucks. With his guidance, the 16th flag is on the horizon.

How long I hear you ask?

Be patient, and know with the grace of Buckley, we shall be premiers again.

There will be some lows along the way, just keep your eye on the prize.

Roll on Pies, Buckley to be signed on a two year extension at the end of 2021.

Within two lines there is inconsistency. If you're hoping for development we shouldn't need to 'hope' for that. That should be a given.
