OK, guys, theres been a couple of items placed for sale on this board, so I figured, why not keep them in one place.

If you want to sell it, advertise it here... if you are interested in buying, please respond by PM.

The Roo Classifieds is open for business!:D

I've got a bag of magic beans to trade you, Roobowski... of course they are invisible magic beans!!!!:D

Actually, I should preface any potential wheelings and dealings on this thread by saying that obviously this is not an initiative of Big Footy or its associates, merely mates passing off their junk together. No suing if someone screws you (although, screwing over a North supporter is like screwing over North Melbourne itself!):D

Lol, i got rid of them 2 years ago. Sorry.

Seems like a suitable thread to put in an enquiry about a lost item.
Couldn't be bothered starting a Lost&Found thread if there isn't one, if so i couldn't find it. :)

Anyway, when i was in high school (late 70's) a book was published called 100 Great Marks, a wonderful collection of the best part of Australian Rules Football. My school library had a copy that i forgot to return, this is where the ole karma catch's up. I kept this treasured book and added heaps more photo's from the West Australian, Inside Football etc and made an excellent scrapbook of high marks including just to name a few - John Dugdales - Malcolm Blights many screamers - Phil Baker - Peter Knights - Merv Hobbs brilliantly captured mark by some photographer who's name escapes me 1960 something - Brian Adamson from West Perth - Cory Bewicks mark of the year 78-9 i think - Michael Roach's 1980 - the list goes on.

I had this bright (Green) idea in the late 80's to send this scrapbook to a radio station of all places-dont ask, i dont know either, for possible publishing. They didn't return it, just as i never returned the original book to school. Either someone like me, an avid footy fan kept it for themselves and has it somewhere. Or it got chucked out. I hope its the former and the reason i am posting here in the chance someone reading this might know the whereabouts of these photo's, some are from the original source, other's taken from newspapers as i mentioned. Farely rare i would suggest.

No reward, just like it published or better still, all the marks posted here on Big Footy. It's a long shot, but this internet thing works wonders.

Cheers.

Geez, good luck mate.

I had a signed Barassi copy of "The Coach" that went AWOL at a practice match here in Launceston v St Kilda in the early 90's ( Was going for a Schimma/ Greig 'bonus' signing when they were more involved- went into the corporate area and never came out. :( )

That reminds me, former Fitzroy forward Laurie Richards signed one of the photo's of a mark i had of him(while with Fitzroy). I showed it to him and he couldn't remember taking it:) he was playing for West Perth at the time with John Duckworth, Peter Menaglio and all them great WA footballers of the late 70's early 80's. I wouldn't know what a corporate area looked like. :)

This was before the York park development- The 'corporate area' was a roped off part of the stand with a bar at the back.
