You can never be sure but if Gibbs, Cripps, Bell, Whiley, Murphy and Graham form the strength of the starting mids, where does Walsh go?

Isn't this where we say 'can he run through the back line?' Is he of a size to be a flanker?
My understanding it is better to have mids and turn them into flankers rather than the other way around. Thus giving the team more rotational options.

Walsh is short. 180cm.
Too slow for the back-line and he's not a forward nor goal-kicker...............Mid or bust.

Harks, I attended a fundraising night earlier in the year featuring Walsh, Gowers & Cripps. Each of them was introduced by the MC, reading out the blurb from the website.

When the MC said pacy, Walsh smirked, turned to Cripps and mouthed 'pacy?' with a look that was half smirk / half incredulous. Obviously wasn't expecting that one. Was pretty funny.

Yeah, if they're up to it, why not.
I personally was of the opinion that it was a bit early for Fields and even more early for Walsh, but obviously I only see what I see during VFL games and Barker would know. I just wasn't expecting it.

So good for Walshy to get a game Harks as he has worked so hard for this, I would imagine he will start as Sub, go Blues would love to see us beat Freo with such a young side
