I'd play him - stuck me as very large, very physical and very competitive in NAB cup....think Warnock will hate playing against him.

Don't want to leave it another week, find out we need him and then blood him against Freo.....

Reminds me of Hille.

So the herald sun says that Essendon COULD place Bellchambers on the LTI, haven't we established that he is already on it?

Do not see where the dilema starts.

Carlisle, in particular, needs to be given time to settle forward.

Thurlow was competitive enough in the practices matches. He is aggressive and Warnock is a good enough tap ruckman to detract from the real advantage we should have in close.

Bellchambers is already on the LTI and there is no other rookie that is close to getting a game.

Thurlow plays.

Wish we were able to play Thurlow not out of necessity, but those are the cards we've been dealt.

If he gets a game, good luck big fella!

Thurlow gets a :thumbsu: From me, he's alright the boy.

its funny every scribe was saying Essendon could be OK this year, only weak spot is in the ruck if tbell and ryder go down they are a little thin.. nek minnit...

could ambrose crash in there a few times to soften warnock up? how tall actually is he?

Thurlow plays this week against Carlton. Will get by ok against Warnock if his form against Richmond on Thurs night is anything to go by.

Against Freo will be the BIG issue. Watson, Stanton and co might as well just rover off Sandilands and move in positions where he might tap it

Would've been nice if we did this or at least go defensive in the centre on Friday night rather than repeatedly set up expecting Carlisle or JD to win the tap.

if all else fails bring NLM out of retirement to tandem the ruck duties with Hooker, ala 2009 elimination final style :p

That's it sometimes you just have to admit that you will be beaten in the ruck.

Can Freo please rest Sandilands for round 4 thanks Ross :thumbsu:

We need his biannual turf toe injury to flair up.

Ambrose is somewhere between 4'2" and 11'7"
