1. This is a board for West Coast Eagles fans to discuss the West Coast Eagles. Fans of other clubs who wish to contribute here are expected to show respect to the club, the players, the fans and the staff. Those who make a positive contribution are welcome to keep doing so. Show disrespect and we'll show you the door.
Frac: Anything from Minor to Serious, and possibly a permanent ban from the board.
(Derby weeks aside, if your only desire is to hang crap on the purple mob, please do it in Bay 13. That way we don't have to clean up afterwards)
2. Be constructive. If you want to discuss a negative or controversial topic, discuss it rationally and look at how the problem can be sensibly solved.

2a. The 'Done To Death' List. The following topics have been flogged repeatedly on this board and dragging them up again is a waste of time. New threads on these issues may be locked or deleted without notice.
- Ben Cousins should be allowed back to the club.
- Chris Judd is a terrible/wonderful/nice/evil person.
- Club administrators are to blame for our performances.
2b. The 2008 Dream Team/Fantasy Team/Supercoach question and answer thread is here. It is stickied. There are capitals in the subject line. It is very very obvious and easy to find. Other threads started to ask such questions may be merged into that one or simly deleted without notice.
3. Show respect. No matter how inaccurate or misguided another fan's opinion may be, there's a right way and a wrong way to express your
disgreement. If you disagree with someone, make your case with logic and fact, and then let others decide the merits of your argument - "discuss the topic, not the poster". Snide comments and a holier-than-thou demeanour are also unwelcome here. There is, however, a fine line between “inaccurate or misguided” and “stupid”. Don't expect rule 3 to protect you from the fallout when you have posted something that is plainly idiotic.

4. No text speak. The occasional bit of acronym use is fine, but you have a full keyboard at your disposal when posting here. Please use it.

5. Quote and respond sensibly. Don't quote an entire twenty line post when you're only adding a one line reply. If a thread is covering
multiple issues or you're responding to a post some way back up the thread, make it clear to which post(s) or poster(s) you are responding.

The moderators of this board are reasonable people. We administer these rules for the benefit of the West Coast online community as a whole. If you disagree with the standards that we enforce here, you're probably better off finding somewhere else to talk football.
