I've often wondered why people go to the trouble of using symbols #$!? when using a swear word. Isn't it easier to just not swear.?? @$##Unless GWS **** it up its Cats at the G or Giants away.
Cats at the G is awesome. Perfect time to play them and win and we are on the easy side.
That Port win was fantastic.

Playing around with the predictor, pretty sure it's now 3rd or 8th depending on Sunday. A really close win puts us 4th
Absolutely massive game Sunday

Yes and looked dangerous both of those games whereas they never threatened us at all.Our victory over the Dees looks pretty good when you consider either side of our game they ran the Dogs and Pies to within a kick. We are building nicely.

Short of a 150 point win by GWS over the Saints, the Pies are in the top 4 now.8th is fine as long as it's Collingwood we play.
Funnily enough it benefitted us if GC won last night because it would have put Collingwood outside the top 4 and the likelihood of potentially 2 matches @ the G in a row. It now puts us odds on for an interstate final to GWS if we don't win and they predictably win. If there was ever a time to break the drought up there than this could be it if it eventuates. We had to have a bit of luck with other results going our way eventually. I've been disappointed with a few of our interstate losses but we have the opportunity to put them right and put us right into premiership contention, I can't wait for tomorrow.
I wouldn't put too much weight on that. We had a golden opportunity to finish top and we missed easy shots or gave away silliy turnovers. We were in it up to our necks against, Geelong, Freo, Adelaide and GoldCoast. And lost all 4.Crazy to think if we miss out top 4 bcos of that last goal from pickett
Youre right about this. I feel a bit stupid for supporting Port so hard now.Funnily enough it benefitted us if GC won last night because it would have put Collingwood outside the top 4 and the likelihood of potentially 2 matches @ the G in a row. I have PTSD over that game. The SCG is a great ground, with great watering holes, but the inner Eastern suburbs Swans fans are a different breed. Thus is eerily similar to 2007. We needed to beat $tains away in the last round to finish top 4 and we choked. I remember talking to Dicko and Crawf after the game and they lamented the lost opportunity.
Fingers crossed we smash the Lions.
Geelong is the only team that has looked convincing all year. Everyone else has major holes…I wouldn't put too much weight on that. We choked hard against Port. Then those 2 poor games against Pies and Lions when Sicily was injured and we were trying to play Dimma forward and all silly stuff.
You can't be perfect all season, but all 7 of our losses we could be pretty disappointed in some of the decisions we made and our ability to convert good chances.
Doesn't matter now, win 4 games and we get the flag, we CAN beat anyone in it, and a big win here gives us a week off a home final.
Really how about when they got flogged by 9 goals down at the cattery by Brisbane in Dangers 300? Or by St Kilda earlier in the yearI have PTSD over that game. The SCG is a great ground, with great watering holes, but the inner Eastern suburbs Swans fans are a different breed.

Not true, they have got exposed with quick ball movement in all their losses. As far back as the Saints game in round 2. Saints were 40 points up at 1 stage and we're braining them just by transitioning the ball fast and direct. The best sides will be capable of doing this IMO.I have PTSD over that game. Geelong are definitely the least flaky team but I think we're right up there with them this past couple months. Our immense pressure and excellent defence turns most games even where we are outskilled into an arm wrestle where we always have a chance. All our losses post Collingwood have been pretty tough interstate games where we've been right in the contestReally how about when they got flogged by 9 goals down at the cattery by Brisbane in Dangers 300? How come I am praying that we play them in a QF then?Geelong is the only team that has looked convincing all year. Everyone else has major holes…
