R19 v Adelaide MCG
R20 v Richmond MCG
R21 v North @ Tas
R22 v Carlton @ MCG
R23 v Hawthorn @ MCG
R24 v Sydney @ SCG

You’d think we’d get it done against Norf and Hawf. Outside of that, plenty of banana peel games if we’re a serious side, we drop no more than one game (possibly two at a pinch). But, it would be very MFC of the past 30 odd games to back up a terrific win against a contender in Brisbane by dropping the next 2 against Adelaide and Richmond.

Obviously would rather storm into top 4 rather than scrape in but I still think getting there is super important knowing that we will get Fritsch back for finals. Oliver is a big out but we've been managing pretty well without him, Fritsch on the other hand is much harder hole to fill imo. Hopefully Melksham gains some confidence from Friday night and fills that void. Would love to see this team with Oliver back in the guts and a forward line with more Trac in it and Fritsch could be quite dangerous.
It’s so funny to me that they’ve finally decided to make Trac play forward more, and it’s with Oliver out of the team. He’s gonna thrive when Clarry returns.

Would definitely want to lock in top 4 before round 24. Would hate to play Sydney in Sydney with possibly being buddy's last game or if they need a win to get in.

Yeah better late than never but I think we would look really dynamic.

Extremely difficult but not impossible.

Pies H
Crows H
Cats A
GWS H
Freo A
Tigers H

Reckon Pies and Cats get them, then we need them to drop one more. Crows flogged them earlier this year and GWS don’t fear any team. This is also assuming we win all our games, be tough but we will enter each game as favourites.

Not making any predictions here, we have lost games we should have won on paper a few times this year. Would just like us to have a settled side and some form come finals - think we can beat anyone on our day with that.
Just want to avoid Brisbane up there I think

Would love to somehow finish second but we'll almost certainly finish 3/4 and will be slight underdogs against whoever we play in the first final.

Home QF methinks. Port at the G for the first time since 2019?

Winning all our games on the run in will be tough, I expect to beat Richmond but they'll still put up a fight. Carlton are obviously decent now and Sydney will probably be playing for Buddys last game. I think Port will lose to Geelong, us winning all our games will be the hard bit.

I’m still not convinced by Carlton. There’s no way Curnow, Motlop and Martin kick 11 goals v out backline.

Nervous about today though.

Not so convinced about Geelong given how they played yesterday, plus Hawkins and Blicavs likely miss. Port are losing some steam now but are still a decent chance to beat the Cats imo.

Agree our run in is tricky. North and Hawks should be gimmes, but each of the other 3 could get us.

All this chat of top 2 or 3, I’d just be happy with top 4, still pretty tight going, win the next two and we’re probably guaranteed though.
**** that, you fall into top 4 you don't win shit anyway. I wanna finish top 2, I wanna win out the season and go into finals a powerhouse not limp dick it over the line into a moral victory of 4th

I just want to play Port in Week 1 at this stage, regardless of venue.

They're by far the most vulnerable of the top-four, and have a lower percentage than seven other teams (including the one that's in 12th), which is a decent indicator that they’re certainly not world-beaters.

Reckon we have them covered in just about all areas of the ground. At the 'G would be lovely, though I'd still back us at AO. Have a feeling they could drop all the way down to fourth though - big game for them against the Cats this week.
