we could win the last 3....i am confident about our chances at skilled.

we can beat the lions. swans may be tough now and TD aint a big home ground advantage, ********in AFL.

freo well we did it last year

saints....we pumped em last year n can do it again. i wouldnt think that round 4 would make that much fo an impact. we will be ready for em.

the two adelaide games are gunna be our most likely ones to loose.

Is there a game at the G that night? If not, why the f%ck do we play at the dome? It's not our home ground, it never has been, and I hope to god it never will be.

yeh we would struggle to top 30 k at the G. now we will get 25k at the dome, maybe a bit more cos its saturday night.

afl always do this 2 us. we had a home game against the dogs and tigers at the dome earlier, luckily we won em both.

depends wat sydney comes to play n that game is probably the most likely to be an upset. (loosing to crows or port in adelaide would not be an upset)

We have 4 more games in Melbourne: against Sydney, St. Kilda, the Bulldogs and Essendon. No less than 3 wins from this is acceptable.

Then we have 5 travelling games: Brisbane, Port Adelaide, Fremantle, Adelaide and Geelong. 2 wins from this would be acceptable, but 3 wins would be great.

Good point. The games in Victoria I believe are all definitely winnable, the hardest would be Geelong at Skilled as I believe they will be back in good form at that time. Sydney at TD may be dangerous, as with Essendon in Round 22. As the Shev said, no less than 3 wins is acceptable.

On the away games we have always struggled at AAMI and I wouldn't be surprised if we were beaten quite convincingly on both trips, but I would be happy to come off with a win from either of the two trips we have to Adelaide. I think Freo is very winnable and Brisbane will be difficult but winnable. Out of these 4 games 2 wins would be good, 3 wins great.

personally i rekon the Geel V Melb will have a big influence on the top 4. Just please beat Essendon, thats all i ask for. I would hate it if they snuck in the finals on 8th place or something. i doubt that would happen anyway

i reckon its brilliant. if we win games and make it though, then no bugger down the boozer can say ahh well you only won cos you had 3 days longer off and didnt travel. lets do it the hard way, and if we are good, prove it to everyone. and if we arent, well then we know we have to improve. go dees! but lets do it the hard way and show how good we really are (if indeed we are good).

vs Bris - tough game. Lions are in form and I'm not real confident 'bout this one.
vs Port - also tough but we usually match up pretty well against 'em. Big question mark is backing up after Brisbane trip.
vs Syd - should win but Swans play the Dome ok I reckon. They also seem to beat us in Melbourne.
vs Fre - at the moment it seems to be easier to beat Freo over there but depends which Dockers side turns up. Should still win. 3rd week of travel out of 4 won't help tho.
vs StK - i'm a bit concerned about playing the Saints due to their big guys and our lighter defence. Our midfield should be too good but will be tough.
vs Adel - seem to struggle against Crows over there. Will be tough but should win.
vs Geel - horrible record at Kardinia but gotta break the hoodoo sometime. They will back to best by then I reckon and be very tough.
vs WB - the Dogs are very competitive but at this business end of the season we should be too good for 'em.
vs Ess - should be too classy for the Dons and hopefully pump em to end their season in repayment for ending our last year.

I think we should win 5 or 6 of the last 9 with losses most likely to Bris, Port, Adel and either of Stk or Geel (don't reckon we'll lose to both). That would leave us with 13-14 wins. Is that good enough for top 4 (or 2)?

If we want to finish 2nd (WCE will be 1st no question) we will need I would say at least 14 wins, and to get in 2nd on 14 we would need a very good percentage. If Geelong finishes 2nd and we finish 3rd it would still be played at the MCG but if it was Adelaide I would worry. So for a guaranteed top two spot you would think we would need to win say 6-7 of our last 9 games, which would be difficult but I think we could do it.
