14 SYDNEY-Very possible. Would love to break this hoodoo
15 FREMANTLE-Very possible. I'll always feel confident against Freo here
16 NORTH-Should win. We looked very comfortable against North last year
17 COLLINGWOOD-Very tough. Struggled against Pies last 2 years
18 ADELAIDE-Should win. Another hoodoo to be broken
19 MELBOURNE-Very possible. They hardly have any tall forwards
20 CARLTON-Very possible. Blues are pretty vulnerable lately
21 ST.KILDA-Who knows. Would be nice to break our 3 hoodoos this year
22 PORT-Should win. We match up well on Port

At least 3 more wins. Maybe 4, 5 or 6. Would love to push Collingwood

14 SYDNEY- Chance, we need to start well. They have always blown us out of the water early in the past. Our forward pressure is the key in this match.
15 FREMANTLE- Slight chance, gotta jump them early like earlier in the year.
16 NORTH- Win, they struggle to match us up for some reason.
17 COLLINGWOOD-Loss. Very simple they are a far better side then us.
18 ADELAIDE-Win, unless they have a huge turn around in the second half of the year. Which is possible.
19 MELBOURNE- Chance, they had one good qtr against us when we were at our worst.
20 CARLTON- Loss, I'm tipping this because they play out of their arse against us.
21 ST.KILDA- Loss, see Collingwood comment.
22 PORT- Win.

I would be happy with 2 to 3 wins and some good efforts. A win against Pies or Blues would be great, apart from that I'm hoping we cop no floggings between now and the seasons end. It may get us off the bottom as I am expecting West Coast to cop a few beatings away from home, and win about the same amount as us.

If Judd was missing for any reason then I would really set myself up for a win against the Blues that would have the Carlton board beside themselves. Ive never got a red card before but might be worth getting one.

Looking forward to Sydney. They are not top four material and are hanging in the eight but are a notch above the teams we have beaten.

Just dont need a reality check next weekend but bring it on.

This run home is tougher than the Lions, WC and Port games.

Thats okay we are playing for the future and are doing good things for the fans and the players.

I would try out a few more kids.

I keep on hearing about some going on about Gourdis.

Is it a myth. At some stage they need to be thrown into the deep end. Even if we cut hi m I would like to see him and view where he is at assuming he is in contention at all

We wont be wiining any more games until we find someone else who can kick goals!

Now that the competition has seen that Reiwoldt is our only pathway to goal, all they need to do is shut him down. To shut us down.

Not an indepth analysis but that is the reality.

14 SYDNEY possible win, even with their poor showing last night we will have to play near our best to get the job done.
15 FREMANTLE will have to play our best footy to get over the top of them, even in Melbourne.
16 NORTH should be a good match, Roos have shown some pretty good form this year our best chance to win in the next 3 weeks
17 COLLINGWOOD will be happy to get within 7 goals.
18 ADELAIDE another tough one, a win would be nice to avenge the loss from earlier in the year
19 MELBOURNE 50-50 given how they have fallen away we're a good show of winning this one.
20 CARLTON another one that would be nice to win. Carlton should be a top 8 side this year, although not a premiership threat a win here with the kids will be a nice reward for the year.
21 ST.KILDA like the Pies would be happy getting within 7 goals.
22 PORT as bad as this may sound if we're 4-17 entering the game, I'd prefer to see Port win, if the PP is already gone then going out with a win would be nice for the kids.

Looking at that I'm expecting between 1-3 wins for the rest of the year and somewhere between a 16th -14th finish. Will still allow us to add some quality kids to the list and wont hurt the development of the kids by playing games with the lineup/structure.

Not an indepth analysis but that is the reality.
If they do start to double team Reiwoldt, that could free up Griffiths, hopefully getting him more involved in the games. We still have Morton who is abit out of form atm, but if he can start doing what Damien wants of him, hopefully we'll see him in the side contributing with 2-3 goals a game.
Vickery and Graham have shown the ability to take a contested grab and kick goals.
As for our smalls, we have Nason who has kicked a few bags of 3, Farmer looks like a damaging kick from the 50 and White has lifted his game to be a decent crumbing goal kicker and Collins looks like he'll be a good goal scoring mid.
We still have blokes like Lids and Newman who can move up the ground and kick goals from anywhere.

To sum up, I don't think shutting down Reiwoldt will stop us from scoring, just that he's been the best option 1v1 so we've been feeding it to him more often.

It all comes down to-

A) We are a hell of a lot better than we even give ourselves credit for.

or

B) We are having a purple patch and playing above ourselves.

If we put in a convincing showing and beat the Swans next week, then i suspect most here will alter their view of the run home (same as if we put in a shocker and lose)

Im more likely to wait a week then make my mind up on the win/loss of the run home. Either way its exciting.

The scary things is, our next 3 games are VERY winnable and both Hawthorn and Swans have some tough games ahead of them so 8 spot is up for grabs....

Potentially, we could be just 2 wins out of the top 8 in 3 weeks time....

If we keep playing with the confidence we have been, we could be playing Saints for a spot in the 8 in round 21...

Go to AFL Ladder predictor, it's not as ridiculous as it sounds....

We are better than some give us credit it for but some are smacking other clubs in the mouth if they think we will make the eight.

I don't care about the eight.

I want us to prepare for premierships in the future. We can't win the cup this year!!

We need to stop sticking our head out to get it chopped off and sulk until our whole body is ready to take on the world so to speak!!!

I agree , Sydney will be the fly or die game for the season. If we win that then we can win 3 or 4 of the games we have left. If we don't then it will more than likely be 1 or 2. I think we can take it to them but they are a better team than Bris , WC and Port that is for sure .

Also as we dont have to go interstate, with all remainders at the G or Etihad, we will have a huge crowd and vocal support. A Sydney victory will set up an awesome Freo game, and a loss, well who knows.

On the crowds, if we do win and play Freo on a roll. I wonder what the biggest crowd Freo has played againsed out side of Perth? We could give that a big show.

And if we keep it up, imagine how BIG the Pie game will be. +80k easy.

if we win all our games on ladder predictor we can even finish 6th :p
we really struggle v Sydney, but weve got the muscle to match them at the ground and the pace to run them off it. Hope Foley is right to go and can hit up Jack a few times early on, but as usual its their small attackers that trouble us

Farmer looked ok kicking goals!

and Goodes! - pop Martin on him-will be a Goode lesson for the young buck, he will be better for it, and will really earn his ball and know he has earnt it.

should go close in Melb tho
and as much improved as Freo are, we are a bogey team for them
and Nth...they cannot beat us...
6 in a row!

still expecting a melee v Collywobbles - and hoping Kingy can keep his nose clean, and put in his best game yet to rub in the salt with a few 6 pointers
and FFS surely we can get over the Ds?
Kruezerless Carlton - well thats a big name out, coinciding with Gus starting to play well doubles the difference

Not interseted in the premiership... intersted in watching the rest of the year with some passion.. I honestly think the 10 goal drubbings are gone..

Our last 5 weeks have been awesome.

Pumped Port at Home (I dont care what anyone says, still a tough game for a team like us that has hasnt won a game)

Just lost to Hawks (should have won)

Got back with 2 kicks against Saints (unlucky)

Smashed West Coast

Beat Brisabne at Home (not easy)

I don't care wat people say about the oppositon, you still have to play to win. the teams do not forfeit or roll over and let you win.

Looking at our run home AND the way we are playing , i am confident we can win against Swans, Nth, Melb, Adelaide, Carlton and Freo.

Can you image if we are 9th, and we are playing Saints for a spot in the 8 with 2 weeks to go?? You will not get a ticket to the game....

Enjoy the rest of the season...... It's not over yet.
