I still remember you being amazed that I gave high votes to ClarkeM in my first season over the more traditional choices!

But that’s the point. Without that diversity there’s a lot of reputation votes and we don’t learn about the league from a wide variety of perspectives.

Zoops had fairly similar interaction to both Drunkgoliath and TY24 in their rookie seasons. Yeah, we could have picked 11kgm this season, but likewise you could have picked guero instead of tony.

• Along with Filthy and AB, who was club MVP at the Swamprats and the Wonders, there are only 4 other players who have been 'club MVP' with two different clubs: BRAB (GUM/MBD), brahj (ESH/LVB), Dingster (ROY/WON) and Noobz0r (GUM/SCS)
• Barrybran has the longest active streak, and the longest streak ever, having been the 'club MVP' of the Gumbies for 5 seasons in a row, every season he's been at the club. manangatang and TheInjuryFactory were set to join him this season but were scuffered by Headless and Tonga Bob respectively. Tigerturbulance (4), Antonio BlueVein (3), serial_thrilla (3) and philreich (3) are the other posters that are currently on a streak.
• The Royals have only had 3 winners in the past 10 seasons - Blacky, Kennedy Parker and The Filth Wizard. Conversely the Wonders have had 8 different winners in the past 10 seasons.

I think a lot struggled with this seasons voting especially, I had a few tell me it was the most difficult season theyve voted on.

I'm on record as saying I don't know how you could possibly rig the beez, there's too many variables. In fact it always amused me if ever people brought up the BC in relation to it based upon four factors - there's not enough of them to leave a bearing, not enough of them can even be bothered voting, too many of them don't like each other and the collective egos are far too large to crown one king ego so rigging from that angle is pretty much impossible. I guess perhaps a group of lovely friends could maybe pull it off, back in the day perhaps a whole team could attempt it knowingly (not that I ever think the Bombers did because, well, you haven't seen a Bomber win since the first one) and finally I imagine anybody running it would be on the look out for strange voting and above and beyond that would be horrified their integrity was brought into question. As far as I remember, nobody that has ever compiled the votes for the beez can ever be accused of being a dishonest person.

Side note, it still amuses me exactly where the rumour came from, a leaked tongue in cheek conversation between two known BC cohorts late at night, compiling a list to rig the beez. Yes, that list included a lot of BC members as well as some other well liked posters in the league. It also included such people as Grant Denyer and Tom Rockliff, both former FB chat members, who were glazed over in that short lived hysteria.
