what was Griggs and Lyons final stats and who played the better of the two? Speed can be over rated. Grigg and Lyons would be similar in pace to Swallow, Thomo, Sloane, Watson, Swan, Ablett, Boak, Wines etc. I wojld take them all in my squad with their slow legs.

What?!? Have you seen Ablett play?
Anyway, I think the issue is more that it can be a liability to have too many slow players in your squad. Obviously its not a big deal if you have other attributes (Sloane, Watson)/are an inside midfielder (Thommo). I'd personally put Grigg in ahead of Lyons, just because he has an elite leg, something I don't think anyone in our team bar Bernie has at the moment. Lyons disposal is pretty iffy, to be honest.

Certainly have seen Ablett play and he is no speedster like a Dangerfield, Jetta, Garlett, Rohan, etc. He has normal speed but is so strong from the waist down he breaks tackles and is powerful. Put him in a 100 meter race against Lyons or Grigg and you might be surprised.

The last quarter at City Mazda Stadium was played in some of the most incredible conditions I'vr seen. Rain so heavy you struggled to see the outer side of the ground and a couple of massive lightning bolts, including one just before the final siren as Centrals won by 15 points.

Sando won't make any unforced changes as a reward for the boys for being in front in the last quarter. That was a good effort against a quality side.
No, West Coast like us are a very ordinary side this year and last night only had 1 regular midfielder playing.

Massive changes should be made on that performance, just because we were in front in the 4th quarter and then lost to that team should be an indictment on the playing squad.

Listening to Sando press conference in the car on the way home, he should but I don't think he will make any unnecessary changes based on that fact, they were in front during the 4th quarter.

So I didn't see any sarcasm used.

If it wasn't sarcastic, it was close to the worst post in the history of bigfooty. But I'm pretty sure it was sarcastic.

Did you listen to Sanderson press conference last night?
Unless Sando is using the moniker StonesThrow to refer to himself in the third person on an Internet forum, I don't know what the hell that has to do with anything.

Anyway, I agree with your point. WCE are a shit side and there is no honour in last night's defeat. Wholesale changes are called for. They probably won't be made because of Sando's misguided belief that (a) there is something to play for this season and (b) that good form is just around the corner.
