2 weeks ago LJ also had 29 disposals, 8 marks, 17 hit outs and 3 goals when he had to go into the ruck..
3 goals last week too..

Jenkins gone, it will be beyond belief if he's not picked this week..

Josh Francou said a couple of weeks ago that he hasn't seen a better shot at goal, and he's probably right that there are not many better.. If he gets 4 shots just outside 50m, he will usually kick you 4 goals.. He also said he loves having him at North but it's time for him to prove his worth at the next level..

Why are people so angry?

Supporters understandably want to see players picked on merit not ignored.

Because losing sucks and as we are continuing to lose and the sane players are performing badly with little to no changes to the team does fill dabs with much confidence and that leads to anger.

Then when you see Phil Davis on the TV and it reminds you we lost him watch Gunston and Tippett play well and remember we lost them as well, it just reminds you how far off the pace this footy club has actually become.

That's why some are so angry.

I hope he goes gang busters so if we trade him we get something decent.

Although a Tex, JJ and LJ forward line could work very much like Hawthorn's, the selectors don't want to go for it and would prefer to play a ruck/forward who can't do either.

I'm not angry players left...I'm angry that instead of being loaded with high draft picks looking into a golden era, we are set for another 10 years of mediocrity, with the same bloke leading the charge.

Johnston was 2nd leading goalkicker in SANFL 2012, kicked 5 in a final, would be in the top 4/5 in 2013 having played about half the games.

In almost 2 years he has played just under 2 quarters of AFL, and even in trial games has only had a few bits and pieces.

Now I think its pretty well understood he has had attitude problems but lets be fair - there is a fine line between making a kid earn it and breaking his spirit. Add this to his indifferent treatment of other young players in favour of his underperforming favourites, and its not hard to see why Sando has been roundly criticised for selection. We have enjoyed some of those players stick it up Sando and Im sure Johnston will be another.

I agree. They have all of Franklin, Roughead, Gunston, Hale and a pure ruckman (name escapes me)
