Ossie apparently showed a bit for Central reserves: Jack Osborn (Central): Seven kicks, seven handballs, 17 hit outs, 2.2
Pity their league team had 65 hit outs to 13

West Adelaide's ruckman in that game... Brad Moran.

Funny how a no name random can sum up someones career from the safety of his study. Moran has played AFL and now has a successful business. What have you done?
Sorry Cornesy.

Yes, Moran is a marginally better footballer than I am

Yah the Wright one was really odd. thought he was starting to get in some form again.. Nek Minnut sub, Nek Minnut dropped. any chance of him in this week?
Depends on training form I guess. I would think the coaching staff would be keen to get him midfield time in the SANFL, but at least one other player this year has been dropped and brought back in without playing in the SANFL, much to the chagrin of the board  So yes, there is a chance, but not a huge one. He can seriously play, he just can't find a place at the moment.

Is it just me or are there a lot of friends of players on here getting offended lately?
Yeah I've noticed it too. We had Matty Jaensch's best mate getting mad a few nights ago, now Brad Moran himself is on here telling us all how successful his business is.

Plus Triggy's missus around the place

Craig Parry re-registered and will be available for finals after serving his 2 week suspension.

SANFL Statement

In essence he is on his last chance - next suspension (at any level) and he's deregistered with no chance of appeal. The re-registration is fair enough IMO based on the circumstances mentioned in the statement.

And is it over a certain period of time, or your entire professional career?

Applies to all footy at any level. Accumulate 16 weeks suspended in your life, and you're out. Horrific rule.

I think AFL weeks only count as half, because of the increased scrutiny. But state competitions, which still attract video analysis, cout for the full whack.

Ridiculous. I remember Jeff White going through the same problem a year or two ago. If you're consistently getting suspended for king hitting guys, then fair enough, but if it's incidental crap that adds up to 16, it's just a terrible rule.

Agreed. I think an incremental points system would be better. Say, for example:

1 week = 10 points
2 weeks = 20 points
3 weeks = 40 points
4 weeks = 80 points
5 weeks+ = 125 points

And if you get, say, 300 points in your life you get a life ban. Plenty of leeway if you get minor suspensions, but if you're a serial thug it won't take long to be rubbed out for good.
