With Walker out with a knee and Jenkins recovering with a broken ankle surely Adelaide is risking a lot letting Lewis Johnston play finals for North Adelaide?

After getting our SANFL reserves over the line by making a case about trying to win games all year and maintain the integrity of the comp, now is DEFINITELY not the time to be pulling out player that played a lot of SANFL this year.

Jenkins will be fit for the start of pre-season anyway. Johnston may or may not be best 22 by round 1 next year.

Any truth to the rumour that Petrenko will be representing the Crows in the GF sprint?

Is it a 10 metre race otherwise he'll register a DNF.

And, while we're on the topic of SANFL finals, the following are the players who are eligible and cleared to play: Mitch Grigg (Norwood), Cameron Ellis-Yolmen, Luke Thompson (Eagles), Lewis Johnston (North), Ian Callinan, Ben Dowdell, Jack Osborn (Centrals)

Presumably Rory Atkins (Sturt), Sam Siggins (North), Dylan Orval (Centrals) and Tim Klaosen (Glenelg) will play reserves finals if they are fit - although North, Centrals and Glenelg have not yet secured their respective places in the seconds finals.

The following eligible players have been ruled out by the Crows with injury: Jared Petrenko, Nick Joyce (Eagles), Brad Crouch, Jason Porplyzia (West), Matthew Wright (North)

He's played an awful lot of games for the Roosters over the last 2 years. It would be unfair for them to ban him from playing for the Roosters in the finals, given that history.

Surely Dangerfield will want another win ? ;)

Although I like both of these responses, my post was a (perhaps too) subtle shot at Port, after they withdrew Aaron Young from SANFL finals because of a "hamstring injury", only for him to lob up and run the sprint on Grand Final day.

Bizarre thing, he was just turning to give the ball back to a teammate who had got a free kick... No contact or anything, it just seemed to go out from underneath him.

Thought it was a knee initially, so it could be worse I guess
