Yes he has to adjust to both Crows and Westies game plan

This is everyone argument for a reserves side ....to me it makes young players think moree about the gameplan and learn to adjust ....something they have to do at AFL Level

crouch not being in our league team is absolutely laughable. was absolutely stellar last season, and stepped it up big time against both north and centrals in the finals. outside of macreadie all our midfielders have been a bit down, especially running out games lately as they look to be absolutely exhausted. crouch played fine, it was effectively 20 minutes of poor football and stupidity that cost us the game today, for 3 quarters we played some really good stuff.

I dont see why the Crows play Wright as a tagger all the time. He is a very smart player and great ball winner. I actually think he could be a perfect small forward, because of these abilities and his defensive pressure

Based on side selection policies as they appear AP .....Couch won't get a call up until he dominates ....particularly with Wright making a stronger case for a recall

As much as i desperately want Crouch in the side,i applaud the fact ALL PLAYERS are being made to earn their spot

Thats interesting, we have 2 posters who went to game saying he was ok and fine and NTRabbit and his imaginary friend saying he was poor. I'd go with the imaginary friend and keep Crouch out.

Yep your friend just wants your leading possession midfielder out of the side because that's going to make Westies stronger. How many changes is he calling for this week? Does he want the whole West midfield dropped? Because if he was being objective Crouch wouldn't be the only one he wants out.

I asked him how Crouch did since the stats weren't painting much of a picture, that was the answer he gave me. More inclined to believe him than anyone here, given the rampant levels of delusion that exist on this forum about anyone a) under 20 and b) on the whipping boy list

That doesn't take away from the point your mate wanted your leading midfielder out of the side. Anyone who had half a clue about footy wouldn't want that, so why believe his judgement unless you suffer from poor judgement yourself?

He wanted him out of the side because he wasn't the "leading midfielder", he played a poor game. Seems pretty easy to comprehend to me.

Such a sad statement this is.
I'm sure you were at the game today to see our shocking style of football.
Last year we rightly deserved the ribbing we got over our style of football and I was one who was complaining however this year is completely different.
We play a tough, hard competitive style of footy and our scoring has risen remarkably. Yes we were over run in the last quarter but if you didn't enjoy today's game then you don't like football.West contributed a fair bit to make this match as entertaining as it was.
I've been to every game this year and I could say the only game which was awful to watch was the Norwood game.They suffocate a team around the stoppages and we just play dumb footy against them.

I do find it comical that there are those here who never go to an SANFL match yet criticise our terrible style of play. I can honestly say you really have no idea;we are the second highest scoring team this year by a fair margin and have a pretty decent defence which doesn't allow the opposition the luxury of playing their attractive football, maybe that gets them upset.

I was critical of Crouch last week but I thought he played a much better game this week. His touches were clean and his disposals were nearly all to our advantage.
He fell out of the game in the last quarter but he was not alone there as North dominated the last part of the game and we rarely had possession of the ball at the end.

Wright played a serviceable game but he was heavily tagged although like all his team mates he got away a bit in the last quarter.
Nathan Gordon was the stand out on the day.I've seen him a few times now and you can't help but be impressed.
