here's another way we can increase his workrate - get him to do jumping jacks during the half time break. oh, and don't forget some push ups between goals. also, next time he gets a chance to have a shot on goal before he's run his first 4km he should do a bit of running on the spot to make sure that he is appropriately fatigued.

well, i nominate stephen gilham for not being in the team.

imagine if he was in. he would have killed the high ball like nobody's business and we would have freed up the shoe-maker, generating so much run off the backline, allowing us to really structure up and use our elite ballkicking skillz to move the ball, uncontested, to the pockets where cyril and buddy would have kicked/snapped/dribbled 15 between them.

look, his non-inclusion in the team should not be an excuse, i agree.

his stench has clung to the playing group long after the last training, and has clearly lingered late into this afternoon, and has affected our usually elite kicking, which in turn affects our 'structures'.

should have de-listed himself long ago. if he gets another game i will tear up someone else's membership.

Its not the coach or the playing group. Its the grounds keepers at Aurora. It has come to my attention that they have changed the brand of fertilizer, last season they used Wonder Infused Nutrients (WIN). In the off season the grounds keepers were approached by a consultant from All For Lawn (AFL) and were told they had a bad case of Dry Roots And Weeds (DRAW). This immediately brought the Grasses And Moisture Effectiveness (GAME) plan into question. To counter this the All for Lawn corporation sold Aurora stadium grounds keepers a load of Super Hi Intensity Turf (SHIT) to use as the new fertilizer. For people who are unaware of the product SHIT it has a very pungent odor and the fumes should not be inhaled side effects include loss of concentration, lethargy, slowed reaction time just to name a few. There was a very unfortunate accident at the ground today as the SHIT is stored right near the Hawks change rooms and a barrel was left open and the fumes seeped into our rooms just before half time. In turn this has had a direct effect on our performance at Aurora. The grounds keepers and management at Aurora are extremely sorry and are confident that it wont happen again.

If he had played we could have blamed him for everything from poor delivery into the forward line, handpasses to flat-footed players, being too loose on Kennedy, failing to go 5th man up against Goodes, missed tackles, poor clearance count, lack of pace, and making Buddy miss set shots from the impossible angle. We need him back quick smart, with Murphy as the sub.
