What a bunch of hyprocrits. Were they not the ones who spefically targeted Barry Hall and got him right to the edge where he snapped at Thompson. Then they proceeded to complain about the treatment of Thomson...

They also tried to be the bullies against the bulldogs (pardon the pun) so
I think they are the last team that should be bringing up unsociable football directed at another club.

Get off it Boomer, you're not scary.

If they want to see roughhouse tactics, perhaps our supporters should stay home and watch it on TV so they make a loss on the game.

Yeah what a wanker scott is, challenging all their fans to come when he know that the stadium will be full regardless as the mighty blues are playing.

We must be careful here. This is smart talk by Harvey and the umpires will now be watching us a little closer and no doubt will be ready to pay any little niggle against us.

What pisses me off however is that we aren't at all nearly as bad as other teams in this area, yet are getting this type of publicity!!!!

I guess the bigger question is, how will North cope with our smalls?

Even if Yarran doesn't come in I think most teams would struggle to hold Betts, Garlett and Houlihan.
Rawlings, Pratt or Wells. Rawlings will beat whoever he is put on.

McMahon will probably get Houlihan.

According to their coach they dont play unsociable football. They play fair but hard football with the clear intention of playing the man rather than the ball... I mean the ball rather than the man.

And if they try to stir up anyone on our side, I think that Irish, Robbo and Waite as well as a few of the other lads will be in there in an instant flying the flag for the Blues and the Poos will have bitten off more than they can chew.

We are not the team we were in 2005 where anyone could pick on us and we would fold like a house of cards. We will just play harder after any little dust up and leave the opposition sitting on the ground wondering what the **** just happened.

As for Harvey... if you see him in his jocks atm, you might mistake him for a hawthorn player.

I read this in the paper this morning while i was getting a coffee and i had a bit of a laugh :)

Harvey's article does hype up the excitement for both teams though... Maybe to attract a bigger crowd? Sneaky, nice one!

Anyway back to the thread. Think harvey had a pretty good game against us last time matched against Joseph who I think he ran ragged.
I know AJ has the speed but if he doesn't have the tank we need someone who does. Harvey needs to be shut down. Definately a key indicator of how they will go.
I reckon it's the opposite. AJ strikes me as an elite endurance athlete with reasonable pace... Boomer will chop him up with footspeed on the burst and moving quickly through traffic. Carrazzo in ripping form as a tagger and will get the job IMO.

AJ has the foot speed to keep up with Ablett and outrun Naitanui over the first 20, even with the ball - he lacks neither - it's just his role forces him to be reactive for the most part which may see him caught a step behind.

Rawlings can't keep up with Betts or Garlett you tool.

Thanks for the laugh too, only 8 Carlton players could get a game at North :D:D
Had a bit of a read of that thread. Think for memory he had some dude in the combined side called O;keefe, who, incidentally can't get a game in the seniors for North Melbourne. Hence, I think Brad Roo is really on some serious stuff.
