I'm totally gonna fail... don't know my History course and had people over to study accounting today and realised there's so much I don't know....

Vonn shut up, Accounting is the life-blood of businesses.

SM. Accounting is boring & dry & dull. I might transfer to Psych as my ATAR is still relevant.

I'll tell you what is boring - trying to summarise my entire course of 'The Rise and Fall of the First Reich' and desperately trying to learn it before my exam on Wednesday, considering I know very little about it. Most boring piece of crap, not helped by my error in selecting the course thinking the First Reich was Bismarck and 19th Century Germany, not the 9th-13th Centuries.

That's what you get for doing a super useless major.

Well I'm up to speed now. Where do you wanna start? The Investiture Controversy, or the Crusades? Both play a pretty vital role in the relations between the German Empire and the Papacy.

How about the absorption of the Germanic armies into what eventually became the Holy Roman Empre

What do you mean eventually became? The Roman Empire was an ongoing concept, and the German people became a part of that when Otto I married Adelheid and became King of Italy. The 'Holy' concept in the Roman Empire wasn't even added until the 12th Century I'm pretty sure. The Germanic kingdom was essentially a part of the Roman Empire in its totality, with the German King more often than not anointed Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope.

That's true, but the skills they teach you are still pretty useful/practical. But with the wrong teacher it can feel like torture, so I feel your pain!
