It will be lineball, I expect Tehan to get back in purely through apathy but it’s been an absolute shit fight. The LNP dirt unit has been operating well before the election was called and now we’re getting Dan Everywhere which is incredible given he’s been invisible for years. So what I said was right?

Not sure about the Democrats having much support - always been a one way street, but what is funny is watching it turn on its head and the absolute fear of it being lost revealing some desperate tacticsThe Democrats had great support in the district.
Liberal party had run on the coattails of Malcolm Fraser.
But since then the farmers have had less kids,
The farms have got bigger, so less ownership and more ex city people have joined the community.
Plus they are spending x4 amount on advertising here and corangamite is a sign of panic.
Never thought I'd see the day, but hey here we are.

Arana Hills office, defaced again overnight, thats twice in one week.
A lot of displeasure with him, as he has not done a lot for them since elected.
unpopular in all areas except samford and surrounds.Isn't he unpopular there anyway?
I've always believed that it was the likes of Samford that save his bacon.
If he's unpopular in Samford, that's trouble.
Dutton is in Dickson …. Is he worried?

Dutton showing his face there could only hinder his chances.
I think Dyson's a weak favourite.
Dyson is fresh-faced, presentable, (relatively) passionate, and apparently offers a way forward.
That sort of politician shakes the apathy out of some voters, because now they know they can change their electorate for the better.
EDIT: Apathy has also kept Dutton in Dickson, so I understand very much. But Dutton's actions (disappearing during Cyclone Alfred, explicitly NOT wanting to live anywhere near Dickson upon becoming PM), plus his higher profile, have reduced some of that apathy. Ali Frances is a decent candidate, but the Teal campaign hasn't been well organised.
So I still see Dutton as a weak favourite.
Mmm. Anyone who believes it is okay to have a Nuclear Power Plant, is freaking cuckoo.
Ellie Smith is a strong candidate… I donated to her
