Does Dave Lowden ever talk about anything other than bloody Collingwood?!
At least he made it to 5 minutes in before mentioning Nathan Buckley!
Also pleased to hear that's he's dispensed with his vomit inducing "It's nice to see nice people" schtick at the start of his segment!

New ratings came out this week, and the yo-yo nature of the results seem to be still working. Fair dinkum, the different programs go up and down for no apparent reason. I bet they're flipped again on the next survey.

Breaky: up to 4.1 from 3.5
KB: down to 4.1 from 4.9
Maher: down to 4.2 to 5.1
Harford and Marko: up to 5.9 from 5.1
Mark Fine: up to 5.3 from 4.2

Mon to Fri, all shifts: same (4.5)
Weekends: up to 4.6 from 3.9
Over all (7 days) up to 4.6 from 4.4

No EON at all on this list

I was listening to SEN driving home tonight ( dont have digital in car before you dig at me about not listening to EON) and looks like SEN mgt might be finally freshening things up with a few new voices.
I heard Darren ( I have heard his voice but didnt know his name ) say that he would be calling the Nth v Adel game next Sat and listeners would hear him a guy named Tom who he was talking to on the phone and also Terry Wallace.
Now I know of Terry Wallace but I hadnt heard of who Tom was and i wouldnt call Darren high profile , so for SEN to be giving them a final to call thats a bit of a change isnt it.
Maybe I spoke to soon about not having guts to make changes

Darren is on all the time in summer. He was filling in for Finey tonight (no games today).

If anything Darren Parken is getting nowhere near the on air time he used to. He is a good host...yes he is dry, calculated, monotone and dull but with the right co host he works very well.

There are a multitude of reasons why EON is not on that list, not least of all the survey had already started before EON commenced broadcasting :drunk:

As previously mentioned, Darren has been on SEN for yonks. Unfortunately for us, he's grown into other roles in the broadcasting arena, calling games for AFL Live. I suspect you're a little off the ball with most of the post, but that's OK. We're here to stymie your ignorance.

As an aside, I wish Darren would go back to the All Night Appetite. It's just totally lost its mojo with Benny leaving and the new guy, Tim, not really doing it for me.

Tim just sounds like a better version of Scotty but not as good as Benny. Bring back Darren and Teo, or at least those kinds of characters. No more dull robots.

After listening to Scotty (forced due to work), I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm starting to crave the days of Shane Donoghue and yes.......even..Mark Stone.
