Great show by Steve and Ed last night. Pity Steve couldn't get to all his Superbowl stories, but it makes next weeks show compulsory listening.

Seeing as Steve has had some touchline experience now by covering the Superbowl, perhaps he could ask Huddo for a gig during the AFL season on the boundary.

It would definitely bring a new dimension to SEN's AFL coverage.

Keep up the good work guys. Best show on the station.

This website forum is full of examples that the Sen Program Mgr Mark Johnston has no idea . Why are you surprised he doesnt know how to run a station after reading this forum for the past few months ,it is obvious.

Hey No Blanks I think they might have woken up to your mate Johnson
and he must have got the ass .
Article in the Herald Sun last week had all the program managers from each radio station that does the footy and the SEN program manager that gave comments wasnt a Johnson guy.

this might set some kind of record of the same picture being posted multiple times in a thread.:D

Doran got put in his place by Andrew Peacock. Doran was of the thinking that the international round of EPL matches was a good idea. Whined "why not" after Andrew said it shouldn't happen as it was a bad idea.

I think anyone who says that the international round of EPL games isn't a good way is seriously delusional.

Be listening to All Night Sport after 1am for my explanation why.

Sure. When a team gets relegated by a point after getting Arsenal in the extra round, while the team who stays up gets Fulham or Derby, I am sure they'll just have to tune into SEN to feel better.

It's an atrocious idea from a market which is already global and making squillions of dollars.

It's not about that.

Well it is, really. The league system is based around every team playing each other home and away. When you consider how much rides on staying in the league and qualifying for Europe, and how close those spots can be, playing an extra round is ridiculous.

I think it's more about promoting the game and bringing it to the fans in places other than England.

So play pre-season games there. Play the Charity Shield there or the League Cup final. Don't touch the league though.

Decent point regarding the Charity Shield, it definitely may be a better idea to make that an international fixture played in some place other than England.

But wouldn't that mean that clubs would play non full strength teams because it's only a one off game and not for points?

If you throw enough money at clubs they'll happily field a full strength line-up. Hell, have a round of pre-season games at the end of July and pay the clubs handsomely.

Fact is, which what can potentially ride on the three points gained or lost each week, throwing in an international round is a ridiculous idea for actual season points.

Any more pictures of SEN presenters?
Anybody got a good pic of Mark Fine?
