Bit unprofessional dont you think with Vics in the final I would have listened as I am not at home tonight to watch the foxsports
When the AFL is in WA or the A league is in Newcastle they have it on so why is this different if they are a sports radio station ?

No, only kidding.....actually, because it is in Perth. Had it been played in Melbourne, it would have been broadcasted live.

Anyone know why SEN are not doing tonights 20 20 final VIcs and WA?
They did the semi final so not sure why they wouldnt do this game tonight !

He was on MMM breakfast for years and then I think he was on Gold FM for a few years.He was also a fill-in on K-Rock in Geelong a couple of years ago.

Hillier is also the media manager for the Western Region Football League, the Media Manager for The Werribee Football Club in the VFL. He does a fair bit of MC work for the Bulldogs as well. He is no spring chicken. He would be in his early to mid fifties.

There was a semi final? They only did the one 20/20 game that the Vics played at the G i think.

He's playing them because he is running solo tonight and there is no one to answer the phones.

I sent a text in and he text back saying that calls will be held over until tomorrow morning because he is running solo.

Oh thanks for that Ben....but didn't he get calls anyway? What did he do just say sorry...can't help you???

Also he could have answered calls without a producer....the announcers at the local radio station here used to do it....not sure if they still do it. But they just answered the calls during the ads...kinda difficult but it can be done.

I'm not a fan of her bagging Tennis Australia for not giving her a wildcard this year.

She's been beaten a lot by nobodies in the last few weeks, so happy to see some promising kids get a go.

Oh ok, didn't know about that bit. If she didn't earn a wildcard then no point jumping up and down crying.

Was pissed when the scud continuously was given a wildcard to get knocked out in the 1st round every year.

I do have sympathy for her considering her father. But Tennis Australia spent a shyte load of money and resources on her in her younger days. They owe her nothing.

I feel real sorry for her......I suspect she probably doesn't have much money left, thanks to her father, I also shudder to think what abuse took place at home......she is floundering.........I think she needs a few wildcards, just to get her back on track IMO......she has dropped so far down the rankings, its going to take ages and a lot of understanding for her to get back......she needs support..

Maybe the station doesnt think some of those who you say are angry are up to commentating the cricket.
I enjoyed Huddo and the ones they had on the other night at the mcg.
Maybe the station thinks it needs to look elsewhere as it doesnt have good cricket commentators

Calling the cricket even the 20/20 games are easier than calling the footy
and there are plenty of callers at SEN that could do it at the drop of a hat .
Plenty of them are up to it if given the chance .

A few of the SEN boys do the Open Website and radio.

I thought they may have had to cut back to 1 host, if they werent making money... Being held to ransom by management.... I hope thats not the case, cause last nights show was just replays with introductions, 99% the same.

Some of those calls you may have heard were replays of some calls that Franka said he enjoyed taking, such as when Billy or Dimmy have called into the show before.

I sent a text into the show and then text me back saying that he would have to hold off on calls until the following edition of All Night Sport.

Over the years SEN has butchered the names of many European Football teams. I dare say they have improved, but still have a way to go.

And this morning, Bartlett referred to Ranjan Madugalle (ICC Chief Match Referee) as Magdugalle.
