I get in my car at 6.15 pretty much everyday, and I swear to god its either Mark Robinson, Aka, or some random footy personality and it drives me up the wall. Still talking about Barry Hall and how many weeks he deserves.

I'd love some variety in the timeslots coz it feels like groundhog day every time I turn on the radio on the way home.

Some advice for Serena Farrow. If you want to work in sports journalism, I hope over time you learn how to pronounce the names of our sportsmen.

Having said that, back in the day, many SEN staffers had trouble pronouncing most European football teams.

Mail is he will lose an a technicality - as you may know the Workchoices unfair dismissal laws bar a dismissal proceeding where the employer employs less than one hundred staff - there are a hundred staff at SEN but about ten of those are volunteers [the freebie night announcers]

I hope he wins but it is a big ask - if he gets over that threshold he will shit it in

As I understand, it has more to do with contractors who SEN have on their books. So, a fair few of the AFL commentators aren't actually staff, but are contractors (e.g. work on x games a season). But from reading the first case back last year, SEN had trouble actually proving that they had less than 100 staff. How that plays out now, we'll have to see.

You seem to know what you are talking about. Are you involved in the case or a lawyer?

Surprised so many people here listen to the overnight shows. I've never listened to anything later than Finey and even that is rare. Most people I know who are fans of SEN listen from morning glory to the run home but so many of the comments here are from the late shows, wonder why?
