Hmm, didn't occur to me yesterday when he verbally attacked that caller that brang up the Supercoach scores, but Doran usually gets the guy from Champion Data and they discuss the stats from over the weekend. Is that not similar to Supercoach/Dreamteam scores as both are based on stats?

Yes, his argument was there was more important things to discuss on a Monday.

if it ws bp that was on you would have got the scores i am sure as bp does every score on everything especially cricket bp even did some womens cricket from the west indies once. bp is trying to make the all night sport really professional i think thats why he got the fedish bar boys to finish and probably this is why franko was asked to stop being part of all night sport.but one thing is for sure that bp will have all night sport being a fantastic show every night and you will get your cricket scores from him for sure .hope he is on tonight soon as well not sure yet it is still the american show

Icemen ,Thanks for bothering but only problem is I dont listen to much to the weeknights as I am asleep by then.
Seems like I need his weeknight replacement to be replacing him on the weekends instead .
I guess I will just have to hope he can fit an IPL score in amongst his sport updates even if I have to wait behind Sth African rugby or lower division soccer scores from England.

People complaining about Franko not reading out the IPL scores i'm sure there was a decent reason. Franka was an awesome host in whatever show he was a part of. I'm sure there was a decent reason he didn't read the scores out that night. Or maybe he did but you just happened to switch off for the second you did.

The new quiz on Finey's show is shithouse. It's no longer worth listening too. Terrible idea to scrap the old version.

I reckon Finey is great value and i like his attitude speaks his mind like a really strong footy supporter but he has been soft in this quiz situation.
For goodness sakes why did he let it bother him.
Same with the USA show where someone posted here about texts saying they talked American rubbish.
Why did Finey let them get attention by responding to them
" sticks and stones , names never hurt me " so what if they were saying Bevas name just dont say anything why bite back.
How many times would Darren Hinch have had death threats or things like that he would laugh at Finey if you told him why Finey has got upset.
Finey go back to your old quiz and dont let them bother you.
They are probably mates of Bruce Eva and he has organised this campaign to do this I dont know.
But even if they say anything just dont react if you do the idiots win and seems like the idiots have beaten Finey which i would have never thought listening to him every night .

I liked franka, except for the god awful EMO crud music he played and proclaimed to be great. Except for his blatant anti St.Kilda bias, and especially everytime he said "anyways" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha really? Whenever i hear Dave from St Kilda on with BP he always raises a topic then says, 'Well so what are your opinions on that issue' As if Brett is some ultimate god of sport.

Every interview seems to somehow end up about AFL. Doran with Sports Minister a few days ago asking him about how he supports Hawthorn and how he's feeling about the team's performance.

Now interviewing Sam MacKinnon signing with Melbourne Tigers and it ended up asking him about Carlton's turn around in form coinciding with his return to Melbourne.

I heard Morning Glory interviewing Marcos Ambrose this morning.Poor Marcos,I don't think he knew what he was in for.I reckon none of the MG team know anything about Nascar [or any car racing] and all they were doing was taking info from the story in the paper about the Ambrose incident with Boris Said [yes the surname got a good going over - i.e Boris Said said] in Mexico.

Look at Jo Morgan and Davu for example (sadly my wife likes to watch netball and I am sometimes forced to endure it. )

Why are the girls excempt ?
They are professional athletes now. If Nick Stevens can cop it on the back page of the Sun for being a kilo overweight then the girls have to expect some heat if they 10kg's or more over.

It's like that when they interview any non-AFL person unfortunately.

It's not good enough for people who are supposed to be professionals. Now I know nothing about NASCAR, but if I was going to interview someone who raced in it I'd at least do a little research. Even if it was just to find out how he has gone in his last few races.

Unfortunately for any non-AFL interview they simply base their interview around what is in the paper, or just ask the standard cliched boring questions.

That said I am surprised they managed to stop talking AFL for 5 minutes to fit the interview in.

Did anyone hear Doran's interview with Brian Royal, Assistant Coach at Richmond?

Doran read out an SMS to Royal that said "Put Tambling on Buddy..." and Doran summarised it to mean so it'll teach the Tigers they could've stopped him if they drafted him in the first place.

Royal stayed completely silent. Thought that was a little awkward.

An arrogant person who goes into an outburst every time something he likes is questioned.
A person who loves something without question.
Usually used in gaming/anime circles.

A journalist will criticise things he loves where a fan boy will never entertain the thought and go down with the ship as they say.

Both Morgan and Davu have been pretty ordinary this year and I would imagine being close to 100kg's would be the reason for it. I'm no expert though.

If netball wants to be taken seriously as a sport then it has to take on board both positive and negative comments.

Just toeing the party line and saying nice things gets the sport nowhere in my opinion.
