Tim Watson was at his best this morning.
Andy and Billy were discussing Issy Folau leaving Melbourne Storm when Tim chips in with "...but what about the AFL, what's the big AFL story" and redirects the discussion back to AFL.
Then when doing 'Good, Bad and Ugly' and caller calls up to talk about Ronaldo's goal for Man Utd over the weekend and the caller and Andy were discussing all the other parts of Man Utd's win when Tim chips in with "..and what about Eddie Betts' goal?"
Now Eddie Betts' goal was nice, but as soon as another sport is even mentioned he is straight away pushing the discussion back to AFL. Can we even have 10 seconds of discussion on another sport or is that too much for Tim?
Perhaps his time would be better spent teaching his son to actually kick a Football.

caught bits of that segment as i was half asleep. see for all of billys faults on the show at least he shows interest in other sports, particularly the melbourne sides (i.e. Victory, Storm etc)
Oh come on! Schibecki would have done a far greater job than the person that was on last night.
Whether you like it or not Schibecki was great on old gladiators.
For that person asking whether Gladiators of Sport will be on during the footy season, well in the last episode on Good Friday Tony mentioned that it would bet he last ep with him during the season however they may pop up on All Night Sport during the year. So hopefully they are in talks with BP and Franka as we speak to get them on.

Brett Phillips said on All Night Sport last week that the gladiators of sport could be back as soon as this week, they just had to figure out which day of the week they can get it on.
BTW John the Pie Man is now the biggest flog on the late night call shows (taking over from billy and Jim from Hawthorn, who it seems is now subdued now that he's off to hospital)
