To be honest I'm over SEN. Far too many people on that station 'act' like they are better then everyone else, and really need to hop down from their high horses, in particular, Francis Leech and Andy Maher.

The way Andy wouldn't listen to Bill's explanation for why Sam wasn't going to be on the Footy Show infuriated me beyond belief - if anyone would know what's going on, it would have been Billy. To just dismiss him and say he was wrong is completely arrogant and obnoxious.

i'm with you on leach, he's a pain in the arse the way he cuts callers off.
maher is usually swinging with popluar opinion so it was a surprise to see him so adamant about this.

They really should get more time on SEN, not only are they great sports hosts, but they are also funny and witty and entertaining guys, and treat all their callers with respect ..

Thats why I love Finey the way he deals with callers.
The other night was a good example one of his last callers on Friday had a big go at him and Finey still let this guy get stuck into him.
Then Finey waited and then gave the guy twice as good as he gave.
Finey will still have a go but at last he lets others have a go as well

SEN still only an 80 percent radio station to me and they have to fix up the best of bullshit.
After Finey finished on friday night and had done some of his best work it was over to the Best of bullshit.
No thought at all is put into this garbage of replays after each other.
What gets me though is they still have someone telling us the weather but he wont tell you a thing about the test in the windies
If they are going to have someone there whats the point of just having best of bullshit.
Why not put Bruce Eva back for a short one day a week show after Finey finishes I am sure he will get callers after Finey finishes and he can tell us the Test scores and other sport.
The Best of" is an absolute waste of time and makes SEN look amateurish
I have SEN in the car and house when I was walking around house the other night they had an interview with Dave Culbert and the Aussie swim coach Alan Thompson.
I swear about twenty minutes later I walked in to the room and they have the same bloody interview replayed again Dave Culbert with the swim coach.
They dont give any thought or care to what they stick in the Best of Bullshit so lets get it off and maybe a short show with Bruce Eva to make SEN a really 24 hr sports station and not just 18 hrs .

I find it funny that people believe Sam isn't struggling with things. He's beaten cancer, then broke his foot. The man is 62 years old and has just been in the media for 4 weeks with everyone giving him a caning. All those things would be taking a toll. I'm sure his behaviour was a helping hand in 9 telling him to take a break, but come on - I have no doubt he's probably struggling with it all.

9 were fully behind him 4 weeks ago, what's changed? His opinions have been his schtick for the last 10 years. I don't agree with all his views, but having said that I didn't have a problem with the skit and I only raised my eyebrow on his sloppy reply (woman shouldn't be in football) a week later. I hope he's back and is feeling better

Its called advertising and its how media outlets make their money that enables them to stay in business so you can listen/watch them.

I'd like to know if there's another sport that has an official website as shite as the AFLs. The whole reason I signed up for BigFooty was to get my news from here than that site. Realfooty and the HeraldSun Superfooty sites have probably gained more traffic due to the crapness of the afl.com.au.

I think much of that is just noise. Billy may have been using the Ch 9 company line and the guys were likely hanging it on him. I do not believe the story 9 has given. They were clearly bowing to the pressure of advertisers. Why not just call it as it is?

Doran will be fine. SEN wouldn't send someone over who isn't such a model professional and does hour of research before each show, and is socially aware of things... oh wait.

They did hit a fair bit on Sunday night. They both think LA will win the Finals. They are very good at what they do and treat the callers with respect. Very good show.

Could not agree more. That bloke got what he deserved. Bash up a fellow swimmer and think you still deserve to be a member of the Olympic team? No. Nice call by swimming oz or whomever it was to ban that slug.
