almost everything still centres around AFL.

Well derrr. It's an AFL based Melbourne sports radio station ffs. If they didn't devote the majority of their air time to AFL matters they would have finished up long ago. They're aware of their demographic even if you aren't.

What I meant with that comment is that even when talking to non-AFL guests they will still talk to them about AFL, which is just bloody disrespectful.

Asking Robbie Deans about AFL is about as dumb as it gets. I am sure Robbie couldn't give a shit about AFL, so to ask him questions about it pathetic and shows they have a complete lack of knowledge on the sport and have done zero research. That is unprofessional.

But whilst we still have narrow minded people in this city who can't look beyond AFL, nothing will change!

They probably did take the AFL line of questioning too far, but it wasn't totally out of the blue. Deans did talk about how when he was coaching the Crusaders that they used to do training drills with Collingwood.

SEN try to have a broad coverage of sports from across the globe but I don't think their problem lies with the coverage. It's the hosts who are employed by SEN. 60% of them wouldn't have sufficient knowledge of sports other than AFL and cricket. While I never get sick of AFL, it is good to hear about other sports, but if I want to hear about them I want to be listening to a knowledgable host.

Listening to Finey last night around 11oclock, and they have a caller who calls up and wants to talk about.......Richo, of all things, and how he's felt that "Essendon fans have always bagged Richo" and he goes on a tirade how Richo is better than Lloydy and Essendon fans have always been unfair on him.

If the person who called up is reading this, never call again that was awful radio, and it made me switch it off.
