It's frustrating when the announcers don't have the common sense to know what they are talking about or quickly get on the net and research it.

Just a couple nights ago some stupid Hawthorn supporter rang up saying how Geelong will have it much tougher this year than last year cos last year they only beat Collingwood and Port who finished the H&A season in 6th and 7th. He said it twice, obviously failing to mention that Geelong played North (4th), and lying about Port (2nd, not 7th).

These errors go through to the keeper too often. Need I bring up when they reported the death of Kevin Murray?

They mentioned it early in the show, but I didn't know if they were serious. Apparently they are.

i feel he is on very good terms with himself, but at the same time doesnt take himself too seriously (if that makes sense).

Makes perfect sense. If you had to describe him in one sentence that would it.
Personally I like him. One of my favourite moments of the week are when he is on KB's show because those to take the piss out of each other and it is hilarious. The Run Home is better with Ox and Mark instead of Leach. I don't mind Leach but after a day at Uni he can be painful to listen to and would be more suited to Morning Radio.

i always used to think that it was difficult to get on radio, so how do the same idiots get on SEN and 3AW almost every day of the week?

i like watching hawthorn, except when i hear this scottish prick on radio, i start to hope hawthorn suffers a lot of pain and anguish.

KB and Marko (and Marko and Pickers) make great combos. Not a fan of Mark as a bloke though, seems pretty arrogant. PNorth's sentence describing him was perfect though, because he can sometimes be self-deprecating.

So true R&B regarding presenters making simple, yet important, mistakes. You make a mistake on here and the next poster will pounce on it. But on air these old presenters don't know how to quickly and properly research to avoid these errors.

The worst case of this I remember was once on Gladiators, when Tony was bagging Peaky for saying the Cats made a semi-final in 05 (the Nick Davis game); Tony contended it was a prelim and was giving Peaky a bake.

except that there are two other games

so then he says the winners of the other two games play off to meet hawthorn.

Jim From Hawthorn provides a laugh. Not only he is on SEN and 3AW, you can add the ABC and MMM, he everywhere.

He asked him if he modelled his game on Leigh Matthews.

Leigh's last year was 1985. Gary Jr was born in 1984.
