Speaking of tennis, I heard him say Roger was going for his 7th straight title this year (he's won the last 5).

Also heard him last week talking about how Melbourne Storm won the premiership in their first year (won their second year).

Small petty stuff I know, but there is just so much he gets wrong or doesn't know.

Today he declared the "play of the day" to be Mark Riley, then Mark Thompson, then Mark Harvey, all within in a five minute span.

doran is an arseclown of the higest order but at least be accurate. He spoke to Andrew Plympton in his role as Yachting Australia President. He asked about 3 questions about the hiring of tim watson.

Watching the news on TV tonight, I see weekly KB regular Santo Caruso from Melbourne Sportsbooks speaking about the murder of his mother yesterday. Recognised the name and voice right away.

Know Santo well also,deepest sympathies to Santo. One of lifes gentlemen

Not sure that I believe that that doderry old man was capable of quick aggressive actions such as bashing his wife to death...he looked slow, unsteady and blank.....I know shock can do that, But, with some stages of dementia there is a form of telling them they did something, and they believe it, because they know they forget things.....power of suggestion sort of thing.............hmmmm..

I don't know what to believe. Those that met the old guy at the store would be best placed to comment. But I don't buy that he has lived here for 50+ years and can barely speak English. How did he help out at the book shop then?

When I attended Santo's shop it was mainly Santo's mum that helped customers. Santo's dad used to stay in the background, his English was so so at best and his main job was stacking the shelves really.

This is great news. I really enjoy listening to you guys at the start of BUSA when you might discuss a little AFL. It's good to hear a different perspective.
