Four Diegos are not on for the next 7 weeks.

Lets make that 7 years. They need new soccer hosts and that talk about the serious side of soccer. Eg. ESPN soccernet presspass style on radio. If only SEN could hire Tommy Smyth, that guy cracks me up.

Haven't looked at bigfooty for awhile been sticking to saintsational.com but just been reading the last few pages and this whole SEN thread is about Mark Doran. Someone should start a Mark Doran thread so other SEN stuff can get discussed here.

Not until he is moved on from SEN, until then you'll have to search this thread to read about yaself matee.

Four times though is too much. Why do we need soccer every night. Fair enough Mondays for a weekend recap, and then Thursday to cover European matches and the upcoming weekend. But there is no need for The Four Diegos on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

If they have to have four hours each week, then make it 10pm-12am on Mondays and Thursdays. SEN should find something else for Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

That interview was embarassing, usually I dont mind Doran, but his love of the Saints and dislike of Thomas came through so strong in that interview was ridiculous.

What the hell was the question about holidays? Just cos he is a bloody coach he shouldn't get holidays? Possibly the worst question/statement I have ever heard.

There was a question in the quiz on the Collingwood vs Sydney game. He says "there was only two games, surely everyone watched it. I fell asleep to be honest". Shocked.

Is he saying the games were boring or that they were passed his bedtime? The only sports/games he watches are the ones he gets paid to go to. Ie. For commentating or the World Cup and in a month, the Olympics.

If he was staying back in Melbourne, I honestly doubt he'd watch (or care about) any events other than the major ones such as swimming and athletics.

Im sorry but that show is only really aimed at people 40+ years of age, they always talk about "great players from the 70s and 80s" I dont know half the people they talk about, its very frustrating to listen to.

I disagree. I am23 and I love the gladiators of sport. It is a great entertainment show and it is great listening to what they have to talk about. Are you confusing it with the GBU crew? Cos I would agree with your points if you were talking about that show.

The MG boys replayed the Doran-Thomas interview this morning.

Handled it perfectly. Said they thought Maxy has gone down the wrong line there. Who in their right mind wouldn't think coaches are entitled to have holidays? Hutchy who was on at the time said there must be more to the stouch than that cause Doran's attack was pretty uncalled for. I had actually heard Robbo say before that Grant Thomas refuses to talk to Doran.
