The poker show is only step 1, there are many more to come in the same slots on other nights and from what I hear the Gladiators are gone.
Casual Friday has severely gone downhill.
Bout all they did for the first hour was take calls and messages from people about how good their show is.
The joyful banter has gone too far, its bordering on gibberish.

I knew Peter Mercado was stepping aside but didn't know the whole show would go. Loved the banter between him, Stephen J Peake and Howard Lee. Hope to hear Mercado on SEN again soon. I thought he was pretty good.

Did anyone hear Doran shut Rota up when she mentioned Bogart will be putting serious dollars into if not owning outright the new Melbourne A League Soccer(not footy) Club. They are desparate to not have the idea that these clubs are just money making ventures for the owners as Aussies can't stand the thought of that.

Mercato is leaving because MMM were not happy with the amount of time he was doing on SEN so they have offered him a more significant position.
I'm glad the station has been given a shake up. I've started getting bored with SEN over the past month and I think it needs to freshen up alot of the shows and hosts.

Well, I've listened to the first two poker shows and I'm not a fan. I won't be listening again.
Yeh I heard that and couldn't believe the guy had a crack. What does he expect, callers to be limited to 30 seconds each and cut off early without making their point (ala callers on 'The soap box')? That is the point of FFS, you get to have your say and Finey responds. Does the caller realise he doesn't have to stay on the line?

Yep, that would explain why Hutchy phoned up the Gladiators last week. He also made mention of the Gladiators and other overnight shows in passing on the Off the Bench show (which I don't mind actually, Turfie and Pickers are good on it, even though I don't care for Hutchy).
I thought they said Gladiators would be moved to 11pm instead of 12am. Peter Marcato seems a very one dimensional host, seems to just go out and bag Peaky after everything he says and plays stupid sound effects. Combined with Mercato's Bugs Bunny-esque voice, it sounds just like a Looney Tunes show.No more Gladiators of sport?

When is the Poker shows on? I can't see that working on a regular basis, what would there be to talk about really? Wrestling barely worked which is more popular than Poker.

Twas their choice, if I ring in and it's more than 3 minutes without an update from the producers I'll hang up. They want callers to be part of the show, then respect is what it's called keeping those callers updated.
Love listening to Robbo on Mondays...anyone here the old South Melbourne supporter ring up towards the end saying Roos should be sacked?
