Add me to the sad that BP is going camp, I enjoyed listening to him I must say. I dont think he would move from the overnight show if he did not have another gig maybe he is going to do something with the morning glory like it said in the paper or maybe doran will get the sack.

I wonder who will replace him. If we get 5 nights of that boring Lowther I will start bringing my Ipod to work.

Yes, Lowther does sound very deadpan.... Did he work at the ABC?, thats the kind of voice he has, slow, boring ABC radio sound, no enthusiasm at all in the voice...

Luckily, don't hear much of overnights now, only last half hour....

Sounds like something is going on with BP....I too hope he takes over from Andy Mahar...or something, certainly too good to lose..

From what I manage to hear last night before dozing off, BP will continue with his weekend work at SEN.

I wouldn't want him on MG with Watson and Brownless though. I think he deserves better than be with those two clowns.

Overall up from 5.1 to 5.5, only behind 3AW, FOX, Nova, ABC, GoldFM (by 0.5) and MMM (by 0.3)

Interesting, these ratings include the Olympics coverage period and vindicate their decision to cover the games.

Solid ratings again. Interesting that the Run Home has the 5th highest ratings overall. That is probably the highest ranking an SEN show has got I would say.

They are incredibly close to 3MMM in the ratings, that is another interesting point.

And for all the Doran hater's, he has maintained his ratings (up 0.2), so I don't see him going anywhere.

This arvo he said that KISS is much better than The Who for playing at the Grand Prix because at least KISS have their original line-up, and not just two members of their original line up.

KISS actually only have had two of their original line-up playing for the last 7-8 years...

stupid brownless this morning said he still thinks warne will play test cricket again one day, he was on your show not long ago you pinhead and said he would never play test or international cricket for australia again.
the more i listen to MG the more brainless gives me the shits, he fair dinkum needs to go. he adds nothing to the show and attempts cheap laughs at fart jokes, drinking frothies or the catters. he carried on again with michael osborne on this morning, saying that the cats were still in it half way through the last quarter of the gf then pseudo-cracking the shits about the result again. old news buddy and the jokes aren't funny anymore.

BP is rated very highly at SEN and a lot of presenters all speak highly of him. I'd be very surprised if he isn't presented with an opportunity to host a more suitable program with a better time slot.

I'd start listening to The Good Oil again if BP takes over from Snoran. It was alright a couple of weeks ago when Harford hosted, but give me BP over Harford any day.

The best thing ever would be for you and Ed to take over KB's time slot from 9am-noon and just talk about US Sport. It makes perfect sense to me, Steve. Fits in perfectly with NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, etc, as there are always games being played during that time.

KB gives his audience absolutely nothing on live US scores.

KB can still have a program, but from 9-12 every Sunday night. His Hungry For Sport can still be appreciated by those who don't find his program boring.

I think Harf is good as a second banana, but as a lone host, I don't think he has the depth of sport knowledge needed on SEN. He's the type of presenter who has a great raport with anyone he's on air with.

That is true, but the limited amount of opinion that he gave on the topic clearly indicates he knows nothing about the game or the A-league. The caller spoke for a minute on Pantilidis and the structure of the Victory and there was absolutely no words coming from Doran's mouth that sounded like he understood what the caller was saying or what Doran should say in response.

Oh I see so it's ok to attribute statements to people on SEN that you don't like even though they're totally false.

Funny how the whingers and SEN's decision seem to mirror each other , plenty of posts here saying Brownless should go and what happens.
Despite best ever ratings according to the newspaper for Morning Glory and Brownless goes.
Whinging , thinking along same lines as SEN mgt , general perception all the same thing in the end .
I dont buy the Brownless got tired of getting up early an driving up the highway as reported in todays paper..Brownless would get up at 1am if it meant a buck and a chance to be on camera or behind a microphone.
I say he was taken off Morning Glory simply because of the posts here and the general impression he is frothys and ****.
Anyone here agree or do you all think he really had had enough ?

At the other end of the scale in experience is the Saturday night host James Willoughby , he is not up to it.
If I could have a dollar for every time he told a reporter or guest it was some of their sharpest work.
He is truly out of his depth and it sounds like High School Musical 2 radio .
Is he 12 or is he 15 , he giggles every minute and at one stage he sounded like he got an erection when he was talking to one reporter about whether that reporter had a new girlfriend .
I understand he is the one replacing Phillips , well all I can say is I am glad I am asleep weeknights.
Listening to Phillips this evening the difference between him and the 14 year old is that one sounds and presents first class the other sounds like he is just making up the numbers.
I can understand the need for these kids to be blooded but not at the expense of the overall presentation.
By the way James please tell your sidekick who told us during your attempts at a sport update that there are no English Soccer updates after you go to replays , thats why we tune to 1026am.

You are surely not serious??.......Wouldn't you get sick of doing all the driving that Billy does?..Then there is all the other stuff he does..

The man has a family, perhaps he would like to see more of them..
Perhaps he doesn't need the money anymore..
