Sunday night slot with Steve and Ed is awesome ...

Really think it's a very relaxing and fun way to end the w/end listening to Steve and Ed for a few hours, I really enjoyed Steve's comments about Barack Obama and the US election as well (and the fact Obama played basketball on the day of the Election)

Couldn't agree more. Definately my favourite timeslot/program on SEN when the footy season is over. I owe most of my US sports knowledge to those two (mainly the NFL and NBA, I've been a massive Braves fan for ages so I've got my MLB knowledge in the bag).

At work at the moment, what is going on with the overnight shift?? They must have gone through 4-5 hosts in the last two weeks. BP, Lowther, Dylan Howard, Tristan and Steve Baker of late.

I presume theya re still trying to find a replacement for BP?Lift your game SEN!

What are they meant to do? I would of thought the best way to find a replacement is to see how potential replacements perform whilst actually hosting the overnight program.

who is this guy?

does anyone else here get sick of terrance from toorak? mightve been funny the first few times but now..

i am, the jokes old and tired now.
strangely enough, i still find vito from carlton funny. probably the same guy that does terrence:confused:

lol billy sprung for lack of research today. at least he admitted to just reading out questions from the age for his quiz.

And not just that, he didn't read the question fully.

He asked who was the last Aussie to take a hat-trick in Test Cricket? He awarded the prize to a guy who said Damien Fleming (which was the third last behind McGrath and Warne).

Andy Maher pointed out later that he left out "in his debut?"

Is it possible somebody could be as dunce as Billy Brownless? Is it an act or is he really that stupid! Now I'll wait for the obligatory Geelong fan defenceof the dimwit:thumbsu:

Tim Watson was either taking the piss or revealed how stupid he was with his argument with why Sydney sent their players to Germany for surgery.

That was a piss take. Don't think they understood that the Dr's players are seeing over there are pretty radical and unorthodox.

They must be scraping the barrell now... I listened a bit last night to the 8 year old James and they had a guy with him taking talkback calls.
I couldnt work out who he was ( thought he was James chaperone at first )but then the producer told me he was a regular listener over the internet from Sydney , he was in Melbourne so they brought him into the studio to take calls.
How desperate is that , because he comes from somewhere other than Melbourne he was suddenly an expert worth having in the studio.
I have a mate coming over from Perth in a few weeks time for xmas so I might see if they want him in the studio to take calls about the West Coast Eagles .
My mate is a chef but that shouldnt be a problem given the guy from Sydney last night seemed to be just a regular bloke .

James' call of Bresciano's winner last night was fantastic. There was a caller on the line for a quiz, and it looked like he had it on the TV as well, and they both started cheering and James commentated the goal fantastically. Then commentated Schwarzer's great save in the dying moments and the final whistle.

He's going to make it in radio, no two ways about it.

That's way to harsh, Steve from Sydney is very knowlegable and is a full book on a truckload of sports. Unlike some on the station. Also a loyal Swans man unlike the majority of Sydneysiders. I enjoy his input into the station:thumbsu::thumbsu:
