MG (well Andrew Maher) are interviewing a road cyclist involved in the Around the Bay who was deliberately run off the road by a couple of hoon drivers.

Maher : Thankyou for coming on. It must have been a very scary experience. Was there any reason they did this ?
Brownless (interrupts) : Maybe they'd had a few frothies
Maher : Bill, this is serious

Brownless not heard for rest of interview.

Why is this idiot still in a job and why is someone as good as Turf not in a job ? Turf would probably be on half Brainless's wage too.

lol, he's such a ********. if it doesn't revolve around froffies, the catters, the darl, football in general or his pub in castlemaine then he struggles big time.
mg was actually decent listening last week, i wasn't quite sure why but I realised on thursday last week when radar said that "the big fella" will be back next week that brainless was missing.
turfy and richo killed them i reckon, how turfy hasn't got a permanent gig stuns me. he and kb together are gold, just like the old 927 days.

slug jordan was interviewed on mg a while ago. he'd had a stroke in the months prior and his speech was slurred. when he came on the radio it was obvious and he struggled to clearly answer the first couple of questions. brainless could be heard in the background snickering. iirc, slug got a bit angry about it and had a crack.

Talking about which EPL side he want's to follow. He says he follows Arsenal because he owns a pair of David Seaman's GK gloves. Then he says he got them from Arsenals former home ground which he doesn't know the name of. We don't want another bandwagoner.

I am totally sick of every time Doran gives a report on the World Series, he has to mention Grant Balfour.

Fine to highlight that he's an Aussie and let us know how he's going, but Doran only seems interested in reporting this series, cause Balfour's in it, and thinks we all feel the same. Its an insult to the keen sports fans intelligence.

With cricket, any time there's some discussion on team selection, he always chips in with how Brad Hodge/Dave Hussey/Cam White should be the next ones selected.

Fair enough in that those boys are close to the top, but he just totally ignores guys playing well for other states.

Yeah it is OK to an extent, but he goes way too far. Like saying Hodge and Hussey deserved a spot on the Indian tour ahead of Katich.

scuba tells them he's still in bed, brainless says "who with?" scuba says well who do you reckon (he's married with kids) to which brainless replies "thought it'd be francesca cumani" (the trainers daughter and strapper)
he's totally ****ing innapropriate and now sounding like a dumber version of doug hawkins. the sooner they get him off the better

Who cares ?
Only about a dozen people listen after midnight. I'd imagine SEN would use this timeslot as a training ground for their more inexperienced announcers as :
A) no-one is listening.
B) Its not going to cost them any money
C) It won't hurt any existing advertising deals.

By the way, your obsession with bp is starting to get annoying

Instead of whingeing about this constantly might I suggest you look up the contractual situation on the broadcasts of EPL games.

With the amount of soccer that SEN have on at the moment I am sure they are not broacasting it without a very good reason for doing so.

I am not saying they have to broadcast the English soccer , my point is that they close down from being live.
Plenty of soccer games are on before midnight and they update them for us if we cant watch Foxtel.'
My point is they seem to think that 1am on a Wednesday or Tuesday morning is more important for a sport station to be live on the air than 1am on a Saturday or Sunday morningwhen they close down.
I totally disagree and think they have it the wrong way around in importance and listener numbers and listener interest etc

Also his terminology is always wrong. He thinks the dugout is called the bullpen. Like when a batter struck out Doran kept saying 'Balfour sends them to the bullpen'.
It annoys me more than anything with him. But I'm biased cause I hate him.
