What's with everyone at SEN trying to jump ship, Harford, Doran and McGuire going for Triple M breakfast and Pickering auditioning for 3AW. I suppose Rita would go with Doran as well. To be honest I wouldn't mind getting rid of Doran only the rest are ok, just let him take Tony Sheehan with him. Imagine that a Doran/T.Sheehan lineup, ratings gold. Tony could discuss how close he is to Fev and Doran could pursue ignorant and aimless questioning. It'll be just like old times.

Do you have any idea how much those breakfast announcers on the FM stations get paid ?

As much as I'd like Doran off this frequency, I wouldn't want him leaving to another station with more pay. Just annoys me when incompetent people can out earn the hard working people.

But anyway, the people at Triple M wouldn't be as dumb to consider him anyway.

Isn't it a little unprofessional and poor form to discuss applying for another job at a rival station on air?

I didn't hear it, but I'd be pretty certain he made the report sound like N L-M was charged with assassinating the Prime Minister

I remember last week when he came on and announced "a massive, breaking news story is coming out of Windy Hill" - and my heart sank imagining the worst.
It was to announce Robson as the new CEO of Essendon.

Almost gave me a heart attack with that one so god only knows what he's been like with the NLM story.

If I had a dollar for every person who's called up in the last few weeks and suggested a new method of determing draft picks, I'd be doing very well. And they all think their idea is original and will solve the worlds problems. I'd probably do OK if I had a dollar for each person who suggested that teams 9-16 play off to "win" drafts picks.

I didn't hear the whole interview, but MG had Cameron Schwab on this morning to discuss tanking. Andy Maher's been talking since the game on Sunday how the Dees are tanking and face to face with their CEO he backed right off. What a light weight.

I don't know if you were listening to the Richmond v. Melbourne coverage but he was doing commentary with KB and a few others. KB the anti tank was winding him up when Melbourne got close and hit the front. KB ended up asking him to leave half way through the last, so he got up and went. What did you expect from Maher.

I heard the end of the Schwab interview, and Andy was saying, we don't balme the coach, we don't want to cast aspersions on him.

Well Andy, if you don't blame the coach, and you don't blame the players, and you believe that tanking exists, than who do you blame.

I agree Manbearpig, as someone who listens to a lot of radio right across the day (Sport 927, SEN and 3AW), I am sick and tired of the all the tanking talk and the listeners suggestions as to how to solve it.

Haven't heard KB's, but have the others. Apart from the stigma of having Doran in one, they aren't too bad.
