He used to be on that reality footy show on channel 7 about The Hammerheads footy club (The Club I think it was called). He was their media man and used to have an on air segment with Craig Hutchison.

I really can't stand Mark Fine. Most people probably don't mind him but to me he usually comes across as a sycophantic cringeworthy dick with an awkward personality.
Young female caller calls in asking if he saw some alleged eye-gouging from Milne. His stupid retorts included:
- I wasn't sitting next to you
- The AFL doesn't act on dobbers that call in to the radio
Really dismissive and condescending for no reason. She just commented on an observation and he was rude and inappropriate. She wasn't critical, she wasn't loud or obnoxious, she was very polite and just wanted an opinion. All he had to say was that he didn't see anything. Expect even less women to call in now you dick.
But I do give him props for his last comments before midnight. Apparently he already had a few calls and texts criticising the way he treated her, and he admitted that and apologised. But you're still a dick.

I've probably gone a bit hard on Mark Fine but for someone who sucks up to most callers, he doesn't need to abuse the rare female caller to balance the ledger. I wasn't listening right from 11pm (was watching the end of the game on tv), but I think he mentioned that other callers had rung in about the alleged incident and that by midnight he was getting a bit sick of it and just lashed out at the poor girl as a sort of blanket response to all of the Carlton supporters.
As I said, he quickly received negative feedback about his behaviour and he promptly apologised, so I give him props for that.

I was listening to Finey and heard the girl call in, also heard his apology to her..
My thoughts on Finey are that he puts on a good show, but using last night as an example, I think he can come across arrogant, and sometimes bad tempered, almost abusive...... I also thought he'd had a few drinks last night, and was trying to keep from letting it show.....I might be wrong, but thats how it sounded to me..

i dont usually mind finey but he was a prick. i am still to understand why martin pike is used at the station. he is a poor communicator and comes across as very undecisive. in fact i dont think he adds aything to sen at all.
I think Mark Fine is great on the evening shift during the week, however his personality seems to change when it comes to The Final Siren and he becomes an angry, arrogant, dismissive, obnoxious and condescending dick, like he was last night.
That girl who called in would have only been around the age of 8-10 years old and to treat her the way that he did was poor form. In the end he did the right thing and apologised, even though the apology didn't sound that sincere judging by the tone in his voice and was more to stop the battering that he was recieving on the SMS.
