Great barny between Doran and Rita.
First time i have heard her really upset
That was good listening. In fact, when she is on it is the only time that I can stomach Doran's show.

It was good radio but Doran was being a first rate knob, he was really rude to Rita and callers who didn't disagree with him.
Doran was sticking up for Craig Hutchinson and Mark Robinson and said that Chris Newman had to resign and that Wallace wasn't sacked because he still had the support of the majority of the players. Rita was saying that Doran was operating on assumptions and perhaps Hutchinson's account wasn't 100% accurate and that just because Wallace is still coach doesn't mean that he has the support of the players as it would be stupid of the board to let the "lunatics run the asylum" and sack Wallace just because the majority of the players wanted it. Its the most sense she has made in weeks,Rita is right Wallace has come out of this smelling like roses so its not much of a strech to think that he is Hutchinson's leak.
Was pissing myself laughing when Rita and Harf started to question Doran's love for Robbo.

I know for a fact (she told me on facebook) that she was going to host an program along with Steve Salisbury from Born in the USA (who is a great, funny and easy going host) but Doran vetoed that idea ...
That show would have been really good .. In fact I wish we could replace Snoran on the afternoon slot with Steve, even if he is an American, I honestly think he knows more about footy and aussie sports in general then Doran ..

Unreal but not surprised. You hear all kinds of things about what happens at SEN but I never know if it is true.
I would listen to the midday show again if they benched Doran in favour of Salsbury. That would be grouse! Whether he knows more than Doran about Aus sports I do not know. He is a much funnier and entertaining host for sure.
the yukka plant sitting in my hallway knows more about Aus sports than Doran

Replace Snoran with Big Shorts Harf imo.
He would be no imrovement. I really don't like when he as hosted solo on the Good Oil. He shows a real lack of knowledge on a lot of sports and also a disinterest in a lot of sports as well. Is too much of a yes man and agrees with callers to much.
Jim couldn't be any worse than the pissed hillbilly geelong supporters who called Finey last night.
For those who, for instance, wake up at 6:30, then leave by 7:15, it's quite handy. It's hard to stay by the radio the whole time that you are getting ready to leave...
Each news update is no more than five minutes, normally four. If I remember my primary school maths, that's ten minutes at most per hour, with news every half hour. The weather takes a matter of seconds.
Not a fan of Rita, but Doran was very rude to her on Friday. I'm normally at work when that show is on, and I certainly won't miss it when my holidays are over.

Sorry to hear that primary school maths was as far as you got. I did not make up the numbers, as you did. On the morning in question, the news, ads, and weather finished at 7:39am. That is not 4 minutes, that is not 5 minutes, my 6 units of Mathematics at University tells me that that is 9 minutes. Do you want to lay some money on the line that SEN does not return to normal programming at 7:05am or 7:35am in the morning?

fact, sen spends too much time on "filler" shit like sports central, sports update, matt thompson live from the public toilets at princes park etc.
they almost never come back from a news break within 6 or 7 minutes of it starting . morning glory is worst of all. and of course doran with his your views on the news bullshit.
they take us for suckers and the station is a shadow of the one it promised us a few years ago. i've actually resorted to tuning onto fm occasionally. the ratings haven't improved as much as they should over the years even though hosts like kb, finey, run home, b i t usa are in good form.
couldn't believe they got rid of simon marshall and have kept flegeltaub on to do the show alone.
