He used to be on that reality footy show on channel 7 about The Hammerheads footy club (The Club I think it was called). He was their media man and used to have an on air segment with Craig Hutchison.

Correct :thumbsu:

Also a sports journalist in Western suburbs local newspapers for a very long time, has also written for Inside Football at times as well.

I think Mark Fine is great on the evening shift during the week, however his personality seems to change when it comes to The Final Siren and he becomes an angry, arrogant, dismissive, obnoxious and condescending dick, like he was last night.

That girl who called in would have only been around the age of 8-10 years old and to treat her the way that he did was poor form. In the end he did the right thing and apologised, even though the apology didn't sound that sincere judging by the tone in his voice and was more to stop the battering that he was recieving on the SMS.

That 1st paragraph is spot on. It's almost Like Mark has a split personality.

Hey Ben care to name those Bulldog players at Werribee who were arrogant.?No offence but the alliance at Williamstown is working way better

Finey was on fire last year but I think he is reverting to his old cranky personality and is belittling, bagging and cutting off callers too much these days

I don't mind Finey's Final Siren but I hate him on that new Sunday review show on Sunday mornings. They need someone with more footy nous than him to host that show

I have no idea why they have introduced the "movers & shakers" show to a Sunday morning. The model last year worked well, Harf & Richo spinning crap until 11am and then the match preview for the 1pm game. Movers & shakers adds nothing, 7 days a week of Finey is probably about 3 days too many, Robert Shaw can't stop harping back back to Essendon 2000 and Kouta is just not that interesting... Must be a cost cutting measure to save on outside broadcast costs..

And therein lies the problem, he is over-exposed. SEN are obviously struggling to have to rely on a couple people to do so many shifts. I'm so over it.

At this stage, I really couldn't care what happens to SEN. If they die, they die.

It's weird I listen to it virtually continuosly and the quality is consistently bad. I don't mind that kid that does the night shift though

It appears that the alignment is working much better, many feel it's a more natural fit but it must be really frustrating for the guys playing reserves football at Williamstown.

Frustrating knowning it would be close to impossible to crack it for a senior VFL game.

Am not at liberty to name who the players were.

Did anyone hear when Doran was listening to the politicians talk abuot the World Cup bid. Someone used the term "chutzpah" which is basically a yiddish term for "balls" or "audacity" as in "I don't think you have the chutzpah to do that".

Now most people would know what that means, if Doran doesn't know fair enough. You can make a comment on it, and then research it and say "I've never heard of the term". HOWEVER Doran decided to dedicate most of the next hour to finding out what it means and spoke as if everyone was like him and clueless about the term.

It's a pretty common term.

Reminds me of when Doran didn't know what "crabs" were.

Didn't hear it, but I did hear him ask a trivia question to someone, which was "spell TENNIS?" The caller got it right and Snoran followed up with that's a good get, cause most people think there's two s's.

We heard that at work and 7 of us have never heard it before. Stupid thing to say its a common term

Well most the people I know have heard of it. TBH I use it quite a bit noone has pulled me up on it.

I know it's not that common a word but that's not the point, I thought Doran went off on a stupid tangent.
