Dave from St Kilda having another go at South Africa hosting the World Cup next year saying how corrupt the continent is yet uses Zimbabwe for most of his argument.
He got pulled up last time with how South Africa did a good job with the IPL and Twenty20 World Cup without any major issues.

Mentioned it on SEN last week noted he thought the Bulldog players were stand offish compared to the Werribee listed players. Then I listened intently to his netball report.

I haven't heard Billy from Inverloch call the station for ages, but he rang up 3AW after the Richmond-Eagles game and kept telling the world about his chronic gambling habit ... (he likes a punt on the ponies it seems)

The most annoying guy is that Liverpool supporter who calls in on numerous shows. I forget his name. Might be the one you're all talking about. Most annoying voice. Inhale as much oxygen and try to speak in higher pitch. He sounds like a bad Jeff Kennett impersonator.

do you reckon ppl like that, or just regular callers, put on such acts to "become" the show? you know, try and get their 15 mins of fame, tell their mates they're on sen etc?
I don't think he's that good an actor. He sounds dumb as. Normally calls up Steve and Ed, Four Diegos or the overnight program. Makes a stupid comment/statement then starts umming and ahhing while he tries to explain it. Actually, he probably does put the dumb act on so people remember him each time he calls in.

I do listen carefully when Dave rings in. As annoying as he is, just he usually has something stupid/controversial to say based on his "facts".
Tries to come across as some kind of Professor with superior knowledge of everything. Can't seem to respond to rebuttals and will just present the same argument next time he phones in.

BTW Did anyone here the host of the gladiators of sport Cut off Dave from St.Kilda when he started ranting on about a (male only) leather festival in Collingwood over the w/end last night on the gladiators of sport (and Peakey described it as 'too exotic' for his tastes

I was a bit narked off at how the host (I think it was that Christian bloke) cut him off, it was after midnight FFS and damn although I think Dave is annoying, that call he did last night was a bit amusing, but it's just a shame that we have an humour-less collingwood fan-git hosting the program.
I'd much prefer someone like Mark Franklin hosting the midnight to dawn shift to that christian geezer in all honesty.

I think Argenti is almost the best host on the station. Has a wonderful knowledge of a range of sports, is eloquent and not afraid to speak his mind (anyone else hear his opinion on Carey a few months back?). Deserves better than the night shift.

doing richmond he gives a D. caller questions how he can give grades when he didnt even know how certain players (jackson) been playing.
